Quicks, thank you for that summary. I got interrupted at points during Seth’s exhibition and missed a lot of details as a result.
Did we get any additional information on which assists do what, and what sort of special capabilities they have?

I called his alt colors! I am that good.
One is Gravimetric Pulse, one hits low, and the last one is his the one where he poses jumps up and does a dive kick.
No word on there properties other than the low one.
tbh i thought you was talking about nova
whistles
Nah I was just making a general statement, but let’s not make this topic about me or anything.
Nova reminds me of Ken the Eagle/Ippatsuman in TVC.
Just got home and all i can say is fuck yeah. Been waiting on this reveal ever since the announcement/leak. he is going to finish off my team of nova/taskmaster/spencer. Only one downside that i see is that he does no have a beam special, only a super so there won’t be a beam assist to use. But i’m looking forward to seeing what the properties on the energy javelin and the disc looking thing are.
So his assists are the shield, the overhead, and the slide?
That’s what it appears to be. Here’s the question; how does the Pulse shield behave?
Seth Said like a Mini Aegis Reflector You can push your opponent into it and it can be used in the air which is pretty cool. In the Stream Nova placed one at about mid screen Jump height pretty much cutting off his opponents ability to advance from the air for a second. Pretty Nifty.
Mini-Aegis Reflector? So that means Nova’s combo potential hasn’t even begun to be fully shown, if we have anything like Urien’s Aegis combos
So in other words… we have a function anti-air assist with it, more or less? Among the Aegis Reflector Combo applications. See, I’ve been fishing for an anti-air assist to complete my Frank (point)/Unknown (slot 2)/Amaterasu (Cold Star) team. This… could be it.
Pretty much You can even push your enemies into it. It saps red health also but not sure what that does for it so not gonna speculate.
Yep. This dude definitely has a few tricks up his sleeve all the hype for PW is good for Nova though I think he is going to wind up like Vanilla Spencer. A Very Good character that not to many will flock to.
I’m thinking along the same lines. I’ve been looking for a new character to give my X-23 an easy way to Dirt Nap incoming characters, If Nova’s assist places the Pulse high enough, this could be perfect.
Agreed, I said exactly the same thing on page 3. Nova seems like the new Spencer as in he seems like a character who has every tool he needs to annihilate multiple characters, but who won’t see much use due to not being very popular or flashy. I cannot wait.
@ 5:11 in this video for the Air Gravimetric Shield Use. http://www.twitch.tv/capcomunity/b/297396243 lasts a decent amount of time and that was with No red Health.
Edited to add. Just watch the whole first fight he uses it quite a bit. Gives you a few ideas.
So with Pulse does the shield just not come out if the initial little blast makes contact or is it only a specific version of it that makes the shield?
Sorry Hawkeye, your theme has been replaced!
I was expecting for Nova to have a beam special so I can pair him up with Iron Fist but I have to abandon those plans. Nova is my kind of character from what I seen of him.
Neat! Clearly it does work as a detachable hitbox, and I like that. The last question, and one I didn’t see answered in that video… does the Pulse shield do anything about projectiles and/or beams?
Hm, I had the wrong idea about it, for some reason I didn’t think he needed to jump in order to do it. So that means the assist version will come out fairly low to the ground, sort of ruins my Nova Assist + Dirt Nap idea. Maybe I’ll have enough time after a snapback/kill to do air pulse, tag out, Dirt Nap? I’m dying to find a way to make Nova work for X-23.
