Does anyone know if he has a beam like e.m. disruptor or plasma beam? so far i’ve only seen that beam hyper.
I’m sorry, but based on the blurry video on the Unity stream… no. It is more ‘red body primary’, with about 80-90% of the form taken up by that, with gold as the only other prominent color for things like shoulder-pads, belt line, and so on. I did not see much black.
Can we just wait until we crack the character out?

It’s not that, I just don’t understand people ranking characters in tiers when we don’t even understand how the character even play likes. Speculation only goes so far before we actually get our hands on the damn game.

Said this in the main thread, at least IMO: Him and Iron Fist seem to have an animation style that emphasizes the hitting pose of a move more than the rest of the animation, which makes them look a bit jerky and less fluid, but I suppose is designed to make him feel more “comic-booky” in appearance. I actually think it has a bit of charm to it.

i gotta say, he’s NOT what i expected. i thought he was gonna have some bishop-type energy absorbing moves, but regardless, i like what i see.
i already see his bust-dat-ass combos after taking a look at the properties on his moves, so no worries in the damage department. (and i’m not talking weak 50% damage combos)
his gravimetric pulse causing him to lose red health probably means that move comes along with some RETARDED compensation (new gustaffe?). same with beam super (damage). invincible max nova…yeah we all see how thats gonna expose ppl.
it really does look like he’s a midrange character like Jintor(?) said, but we’ll see what he can do soon enough. imo, he looks optimal in the 2 spot or the 3 spot depending on a few things.
my only concern is the startup on his moves. fingers crossed for an 8 way, or at least a 2 way airdash. his throw seen in the vid doesn’t look like a command grab to me. regular throws simply have a lot of range in this game along with being 1 frame. his javelin proj looks too good. seemingly tracks, pretty quick, doesn’t have to worry about interacting with ground projectiles for the most part , and groundbounces aerial opponents (?). his rush attack got hit by weskers jaguar kick so i don’t suspect any armor on those.
liking his “punch you in the face then go home” style. can’t wait to see more.

he said one of his hypers ( the ruby heart one) don’t take red dmg…i can see that as the go to hyper for him. alot i think it otg WHICH IS BULLSHIT BUT I LIKE NOVA!

-one has a follow up, and one is the dive kick
- you can push people into Gravimetric pulse
- ball super and beam drain red health to power up
- all 3 hypers can be done anyware
- you can direct max nova up to 3 times where you wish or just have it hit once, i asume for dhc’s
-2 otg’s - j.:s: has alot of hitstun and ditoration
-:s:+:p: shoots the projectile up and it tracks
