I’d had to double take at the Corgi with mechsuit of magic armor. I was like…wait…what did he say?
Man, I’m looking forward to this game a ton, but holy shit that was embarrassing to listen to. I’m talking like KoF Maximum Impact announcer levels of cheese.
I mean Bloodstained as a series is pretty cheesy.
Yeah, but goddamn. I don’t see how you could make something sound that cheesy without great effort.
I…I think I’m saying they did it on purpose. They are trying to be that cheesy as the whole series so far has been pretty cheesy.
I think its intentional.
Interesting. I had fun with the first game, and it’s interesting that they’re doing another one. I wouldn’t have guessed that was in the cards.
I liked Curse of the Moon for nostalgia but I may have to grab the sequel for the Corgi. That’s so damn ludicrous, I have to try it out.
Steam-Mecha driving dog is a headline catching feature that more games need.
My gunslinger build is getting OP! Got the Critical & Lethality Rings so I get more crits and they do more damage, and also the Optimizer shard which increases attack speed even more when combined with the Assassin suit. My firing speed is ridiculous and I’m doing hella damage from across the screen.
Hello Bloodstained Fans!
We are still addressing a last-minute Chroma Wheel display issue. Boss Revenge and Chroma Wheel are now planned for release next week.
We will have more details after the weekend.
Thanks for your patience and we apologize for the delay.
I heard the Chroma Wheel/Boss Revenge dlc for the switch version is going to be delayed
Wait what? We got multiplayer and the original cast too!?
I just watched that trailer and this game is looking even better than the last one! Those additions definitely sweeten the deal.
So I’m stuck at Bael in RotN right now, he’s not even that hard but he’s got a lot of HP. Dominique and OD are kind of the same really, they’re just damage sponges. But Gunslinger is actually a lot more useful against these enemies than I thought it would be especially with upgraded bullets. You can shoot them down fairly quickly if you have enough.
I finished up my Gunslinger run last night. Man, once you get the recipes for the stronger bullets, guns are insane. I made super short work of Dominique and Bael with Diamond and Critical bullets. I was doing about 450 dmg per hit, so they didn’t last long.
I started up a Zangetsu run too and I think he’s gonna be fun. He’s a lot more agile than Richter was in sotn and his moveset is pretty cool. I might try to speedrun with him after I get thru this first run.
That’s crazy to hear since Richters pretty fucking agile once you know what you are doing.
He always felt kind of clunky to me, especially in light of how agile and smooth Alucard is. But I suppose that’s probably on purpose since Al is a vampire and Rich is human. But “Richiter” mode in Portrait of Ruin is what I’m talking about, it’s probably the best instance of him outside Rondo/DXC because he’s fast and powerful. I got all the way to Dracula/Death with him in that game but was never able to beat them.
I should finish Richter/Maria runs in sotn sometime, I think I always got stuck and stopped playing.
Bloodstained characters feel really nice though. Miriam with the Speed Belt is buttery smooth much like Zangetsu, it makes them more fun to play. I hope if they do a sequel to RotN that they make her play just like she does with the Speed Belt just by default because she’s fun af.
Richter mode in PoR was great, definitely the most fun of the IGA bonus character modes. Getting through the double Frankenstein room in that mode was insane.
I did Nest Of Evil with John & Charlotte, but not Richter if I remember right. I didn’t even summon Maria, just used Richter most of the time because, yeah he was such a blast to play in that game.
I need to get the DS CVs. They are pretty much the only ones I haven’t played. I have OoE and played it a little but it didn’t grab me really. Can certainly give it another go tho.
