BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT aka the Spiritual successor of Symphony of the Night

Not gonna lie, I love the game randomly freezing and spazzing out. Gives me that PS1 feeling. I know its technically bad, but its just sort of goofy to see a next gen game behave like a it was released while I was in middle school.

Managed to exit the play area but it doesnt give you completion bonuses.

Bro why did I hit a glitch where it didn’t matter if I hit left or right, but I got stuck in a door and kept going back n forth. :joy:

Game also loves wig out if you’re doing too much shit and a monster soul is being absorbed.

At least most of the shit made with alchemy appears in the store

Most? Kek.

Also love how I meet crafting requirements but shit don’t want to unlock. Guess I’m not using the Gae Assail atm lmao.

That’s because you need the book that lets you craft that level.

All the cooking stuff has me perplexed though. Part of me wants to get 100% on a bunch of stuff, the other just wants to tell the old lady to cook her own shit.

:triumph:

I was going to do the cooking cause she gives a hat that basically gives unlimited ammo, but I said fuck it.

I haven’t messed with the guns yet. I’ve crafted the bets sword, best great sword, best whip, I’ve maxed out all of the passive shards because I’m an idiot, and have all the best armor IIRC.

The thing about cooking is that the first time you eat a dish, you get a permanent boost. So there’s incentive to do it. Some of the dishes (pizza and ugi rice bowl or w/e) are also crazy good heals. Just dont’ know if I wanna grind for some food items that have a drop rate of 1%.

Lol when I saw I had to go kill shit for some beef I nope’d outta there.

Pizza is awesome in that game

Out of curiosity what is the best sword? I’m using the Rhava Velar and no sword fucks with it. Eternal Blue is a kickass greatsword.

Best sword is the…Blue Rose. Best Great Sword is the Eternal Blue. Have the best whip too. I’ve grinded so much that I’m at level 73. Which is why I stay away from MMOs because menial grinding is hella addictive to me. Might as well just grind everything else and go down the list of weapons and stuffs.

You get a special item when you collect all the shards that makes you even more powerful in goofier ways.

I’m too jacked at the moment though. Started a hard play through with NG+ and I’m just melting things. Gonna see how nightmare shakes out.

I had a feeling you gonna say Blue Rose. I found it to be underwhelming. With the Rhava Velar you can one press will get you 4 hits. Mashing will cut up any enemy into ribbons. That weapon turns boss rush into easy mode. I love it.

when I first found the bunnymorphis shard, I googled wtf it did and apparently it has a lot of applications towards absolutely assblasting enemies.

So the ā€œbestā€ in so much as its the last sword you can get with stats but it may not make it the best weapon.

So it’s the Crissagrim then.

people already got the 3d models out of the game and experimenting with them

First, we’ve got a look at the slipcase that will house your Alchemist’s Treasure rewards (along with your physical copy of the game). We figured the most important part of this reward would be designing around Ayami Kojima’s incredible art, which is front and center:

(The slipcase is open on one side to hold your game, soundtrack, and the other Alchemist’s Treasure rewards—you’re looking at the spine in both of these images.)

We’ve also got an update on your digital rewards—they’ll be arriving later today! As soon as they’re ready to go you’ll find them on your survey page. (Remember—if you don’t have that link handy, you can get it back on our survey support page. If you’re in a tier that includes your name in the credits, you can also get your Backer ID there; go to ā€œChange or Upgrade Tiersā€ and look for the number following KICKBLOODSTAINED, and make sure to include the pound sign.)

Hey everyone, Igavania is now officially back, but the journey hasn’t been without its share of challenges along the way, and as Iga recently said, we still have work to do. As a way of saying thank you, all digital and physical backers $60 and above will receive the digital soundtrack.

**Backers at the $60 digital tier, as well as all backers at $100+ tiers, will now also be receiving a PDF version of the art book. **

**We’re also pleased to announce that the backer-edition soundtrack is available in FLAC as well as MP3, created from the CD soundtrack masters. We heard your feedback on this. (No pun intended.) **

Speaking of goodies, we’ll also be distributing keys for the Bloodstained dynamic theme ā€œMiriam’s Gazeā€ to all PS4 digital and physical backers today for free. North America and Europe PS4 backers should see them on their survey page in the next couple of hours.

We’ve got a couple more bonuses just for backers that we’ll announce when your physical rewards are ready to ship.

If anybody here pre-ordered the digital version please post here that PDF art book.
