BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT aka the Spiritual successor of Symphony of the Night

ANOTHER UPDATE

Chest Bug

Xbox One (Status: Fix Incoming)

Treasure chest issues have been fixed; after the patch, unique items will be obtainable even on existing playthroughs.
The patch for this should be submitted today (Wednesday), and we anticipate public release on Friday or Saturday.
The teams are also working on additional improvements and bug fixes.

Playstation 4 (Status—unchanged)

The problems causing the bug have been identified, teams are working to identify and implement solutions.
No new users affected by this bug, just like before all new games/playthroughs are safe to play.

Nintendo Switch (Status—fix being tested)

The fix is currently in test, the submission date we were working toward has been delayed due to a graphical bug that has reemerged.
We anticipate testing will be completed by next week, which would mean an ETA of public release during the week of July 15, 2019.

Improvements

Map Improvements

Map close button has been remapped to standard exit/close button
Marker button has been changed
Trail display button has been changed
Map scroll speed improved
Zoom in and zoom out improved
Zoom level retained when reopening the map
Auto-center when opening the map
Bug fix: No longer displaying enemies for completed quests

Fixed items getting stuck on walls/geometry

The functionality of waiting until the item is collected automatically has been left in, in case the issue persists.

Switch-specific Improvements

HD Rumble issues in certain areas of the game have been fixed
Enabled Traditional Chinese language option
Fixed instances where the game would crash while transitioning between rooms
Work has been done on the technical “non-visible” side of things to improve input delay, stability, and various optimizations. The teams are continuing to work on these items and we’ll have future updates and plans to share soon.

“Iga’s Back Pack” DLC

Xbox One (Status—DLC being tested)

Testing will happen next week, if completed successfully we will submit and have an updated ETA for release during the week of July 15, 2019.

Playstation 4 (Status—DLC submitted, pending approval and release)

We’re currently working through some submissions with Sony, and plan to have an update, hopefully for release, next week.

Nintendo Switch (Status—DLC approved, release imminent)

The DLC has been approved by Nintendo, we’re just taking the final steps to make it go live.

Those map function changes are nice

Well I’m not sure where to go now. Killed the blood chick, now just kind of wandering ainlessly.

Oh I got the bad ending on accident lol.

Use her blood drain ability to drain the blood filled fountain at the castle entrance.

Finally got this on PC after I got paid for a commission (it’s a bit more than $25 locally on Steam). Loving how familiar and SOTN like it is, despite the change in tech.

Bloodless has been kicking my ass. Feel like I’m underleveled. Anyone know where to easily get EXP, or gold?

Dunno bout Gold I just sell gear I no longer have a use for.

For exp I just farmed up my shards and it got me the levels I needed…honestly too many levels probably. Bloodless failed to kill me.

Bloodless is weak to Slash, Thrust, and Light damage and she does her Bloodsteal only once.
I used a Stinger (poisoned Rapier) with the Sword Expertise shard on her.

Beat her with Rhava Bural. Also went and crafted some armor. Been ignoring that bit until now.

I only changed armor if it increased my luck. I basically ignored that equipment lol.

I focused on armor that increased defense and con. When it comes to red shards I only use welcome company. Rhava Velar with welcome company shreds everything.

Have 100% everything except technique masteries.

Slowly grinding 8-bit nightmares to upgrade all the 8 bit coins to full becauee I’m dumb.

Somebody help me with this unnecessary grinding addiction.:sob:

Bruh if you find the cure let me know. Every new enemy I encountered, I stopped and killed it until I got all its items and shard. :sob:

Pfft, I’m trying to decide whether or not to level up all the shards to rank 9 and do somw other stuff.

I’m hilariously close to the Platinum trophy for this game. :man_facepalming:

I shamelessly got all the expertise, optimizer, and augment stat shards to rank and grade 9. :joy:

I did too already. I’ve eaten all the foods, have the best weapons, best armor, best amulets, best flow, most consistent, realest stories, most charisma, she set the most trends and her interviews are hotter.

Trying to decide on whether or not to get the Iga DLC. It’d be that or doing a Nightmare playthrough without NG+.

Figured out how to swim. Dunno where to go again hahaha. I’ll figure it out tho. Got a couple places to check after work.

I completed all the food quests. Going through all that trouble got me a hat that gives me unlimited ammo. A gun run is in my future.

I kind of want to go for the Plat, but the 100% completion trophies for items doesn’t look fun to go for at all.

I got stuck in that area because I didn’t realize an enemy gives you an ability to swim. You will get a “better” swim ability soon after you explore that area, and you’ll want to go back to where you are now because there are a shitload of chests with loot in them. One has a mace that I used for most of the end-game, it hits like a truck but swings like a regular swArd.

It’s not. I’m doing the completion stuff and getting the necessary drops are a chore. The drops I’m missing have like a 1% chance of dropping. Increasing my luck stat as high as I can get it is of little help.
