If the game uses Unreal Engine 4 then you can bet your ass that a WiiU port will be a downgrade because the WiiU can’t handle that shit to save its life.
I like my WiiU, but i wouldn’t prtend that the hardware is not the most oudated of all 3 current gen consoles, without mention the one with the most exotic hardware making it more difficult to optimize multi platform games for it.

It may be unreasonable in some cases, but this isn’t even a finished game yet so even if you want to bring up stuff like that, it’s too early in development to know if that’s even a good argument.

A 2.5D Bloodborne side scroller on 3DS would be incredible.

I don’t think anyone is white whining about the game not being on 3DS/PSV it just seems like if it isn’t for whatever reason it would be a missed opportunity, yeah I’ll be upset if it isn’t on either handheld, but I’ll still be happy as hell it’s getting made in the first place and enjoy it in 1080P/60FPS on my PC.

This game won’t even come out for 2-3 years. PSV, 3DS, and Wii-U probably won’t even been around when the game comes out. I don’t see the point of making ports for those machines. They should focus on the main platforms and do ports later.

We don’t need no bloody DS, 3DS, PSP, PS Vita, Android and iOS versions of the game.
We already got Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Steam (PC/Mac/Linux).

Oh and fuck Wii U, yeah I said it. If Nintendo wanted a copy on the Wii U, let them fork over the cash for development on a different system.

If none of you notice, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Steam (PC/Mac/Linux) all use the same processor, the X86 family.
There is little to change from system to system, just some minor tweaks for each platform.

All the handhelds use Arm processors, which require completely different code.
The Wii U uses a Power PC family processor, the same processor type Sony and MS have up with the PS3 and Xbox 360 (hard as fuck to program for).

Stop! We don’t even know what engine it will use and how graphically intensive the game will be to assume it will need dumbing down to handhelds.

To ignore PS3/360/Wii U is seriously cutting a shit ton of potential customers out of the picture. A scaled down version with 720 res and maybe less framerate is easily doable, and developers have been developing on PPC architecture for almost 10 years now. They’re more than capable of doing it.
