I really like my Bloodtinge build, and the Chikage is one of the most fun Katanas Ive ever used in a game. Fuck load of fun.
The only issue will be Logarius at a fairly low level. I had a hard time with him on a high level.
Yea that shit was tough for me to, i ended up having to come back later, my dps was too low. Hes doable at low level but it will take work. You know how to get the Cainhurst Summons early?
No, I donāt think Iāve heard how to do that.
If youāre talking about the early skip, they patched that out ages ago. The only way to get it āearlyā would be to kill Vicar Amelia as soon as you can and run into the Forgotten Woods. My best advice is to just play the game normally and level up the Threaded Cane or Saw Spear to +6 so you wonāt have too many issues with Logarius.
Here you go.

A more efficient way to get over the fence once on it tho is to stand on the sand bags and charge up an R2 attack that moves you forward a decent amount, will push you right over the fence. Just donāt go too far, you donāt want to fall off the other side.
Edit: welp never mind
They fixed that. >_>;
Oh did they? Thatās lame. Boooo!
Guess Iāll do it the old fashioned way. Thanks anyway though.
Once you beat Vicar Amelia, itās easy enough to just run through the Forbidden Woods and snag the Summons anyway.
I think the next build I try is gonna be a Bloodtinge build, seems fun as fuck. My main build is a Skill/Arcane setup and Iām just having a hard time pulling away from that character because heās so damn fun, lol. Burial Blade has a mad damage output the way my stats are set up.
Man did they buff the tracking on the Winter Lanterns or something? I was behind the fucking thing and it still whirled around and hit me. Fucking retarded. What a stupid ass enemy lol.
Edit: Seriously, worst fucking enemy in the entire series, bar none.
DS1 Skeleton Wheels are still my number 1 most hated, particularly in the Painted World encounter.
Fortunately for me, by the time I went to Ariamas I had a +3 Greatshield of Artorias which basically allowed me to take a nap while the wheels did their thing.
Thatās the thing. The Wheel Skeletons can be countered with the right build. Winter Lanterns fuck you over no matter what lol. Wheel Skeletons are dickbags tho no doubt.
Also finished my first run through on my own PS4. Was a fucking disaster loool. I died soooo many times to shit that I shouldnāt fuckin die to, ended up wasting a bunch of resources due to it, and I forgot to eat all the umbilical cords before beating Gherman so it forced me into NG+ before I could do stuff like explore the Healing Church Headquarters, take on Ebrietas (So Iām missing that Chalice as well)ā¦fucking sad yo lool.
Oh well I guess. Iāll get buff as fuck and wreck her shit in NG+ lol.
Killing Winter Lanterns has a small chance to drop super rare blood gems though. Like, Chalice Depth 5 tier blood gems. Still not sure its worth it though cause they are REALLY shitty to deal with.
My least favorite enemy by far is Brain Suckers. Seriously, fuck those guys and fuck the orphanage.
The brain suckers with magic are fucking terrible.
They all have magic. They all have amour invincibility. Theyāre all fucking terrible.
On my second play, I walked into the dark church and tried to sneak up on the first one in the open area, completely forgetting about the second one wandering around. I got totally gang raped by them both lobbing binding magic at me rapidly.
Brain suckers wouldnāt be so bad if not for that slow ass animation of you falling down and sloooowly getting back up.

Yea they do drop fucking fantastic blood gems. They are such a fucking pain in the ass to kill tho., that farming them is a massive chore, and those gems are pretty rare, so youāll be dealing with their garbage for a while, pissing through sedatives like crazy the whole time.
The brain suckers are a pain but I still hate the Winter Lanterns more. They arenāt too tough to deal with if you just keep on your toes, and if there is something for you to put between you and them then their spells become a non-issue. Itās bullshit how they can siphon your insight if they grab you tho lol.
