Eat three Umbilical Cords to see the true ending and fight the true final boss. Doesn’t matter when you eat them as long as it’s before fighting Gerhman.

You ate all 3 then, that would be the “third” or “true” or whatever ending. Btw if you read the description of the trophy you get for that, it tells you that that’s actually you, reborn as a Great One.

Yep. Just stay in cover. Also enemies get effected by it to, so keep that in mind
Man this is hard. Sooooo annoying. So do I hide behind a rock or something? I am mad confused.
It’s basically a light house in the distance. Any light that touches you builds up Frenzy, which deals a fatal amount of damage to your health bar once it fills up. Stock up on Sedatives to keep yourself from getting frenzied to death, but honestly for that beginning portion you can just run into the castle doors before it even fills up all the way.
Frenzy resistant gear like the Ashen set would also help a little, if you’re having THAT much trouble passing through.
I’m finally starting to make some distance. I messed up and dodged off the bridge so I was mad pissed. I guess there were times when I was behind a rock and still the bar was going up. But the light was gone. This game has glitched on me a couple of times.
Sloppy at times, but i’m just glad it’s dead. Overall it was a good game 9/10 and a early contender for GOTY. Now it’s either on to MKX or wait for the Witcher 3.
If you notice, the light actually hits you with projectiles. The black-reddish barbs of magic that appear on you suddenly. THOSE are what actually raise your frenzy bar, and they last for a set amount of time. As long as you aren’t in the open for too long you’ll be fine. BTW the more insight you have, the fast it builds, so if you have high insight, you could consider lowering it to like 10 or something
Good to know. I finally got in the castle and what was cool is that I was still earning blood echoes because the enemies I ran past were getting bodied. I barely beat those spider assholes. Then I died by the npc, so I am salty to say the least. I have to go back and farm for some vials now, totally ran out.
Oh I still can’t beat the Cainhurst boss. Once he gets his second form I just get destroyed. One time I almost had him and ended up dodging off the roof.
Learned how to use my pistol. Busted a cap on this nigga thought he could come at me. I be like nah homie, back back gimme 50ft. You dun want none of this. Nigga came at me, BLAAAW sit yo bitch ass down.

I actually preffered the 2nd form… until he started doing some OTHER SHIT on top of the rushdown he was dealing. By that point I was down to 10 bloodvials left over and figured I should do some exploring before coming back.
Hahaha I only just read that when you pick up items that your capped on they automatically get put in your bottomless box. I had no idea. Spent so much time farming vials an bullets, I bet I got enough Bullets in my Box to make the army mad lol.
