Although you can get to Logarius before those fights, I think heâs balanced for a little further ahead in story progression. Same with Amygdala and some of the other optional bosses. The earliest you can get to them is not exactly the easiest time to do so
After beating Amelia, did you examine the big, glowing, enshrined skull? If you ever talked to Alfred he hints that in order to get to a certain place you need a password. When you examine that skull, you basically get that password. Once you have it, go to the plaza in Cathedral Ward that had two of those giants in white patrolling it inside a fenced area. Thereâs a hallway on the side there that leads to a new area.
Cool I got it. I made the mistake of going down that path after the two npc dudes were beaten. Yeah I had a smooth 40k souls, and got snatched up by a portal monster thing. Went back to get my souls and got snatched up again. I was like eff this and just went to the forest. So far the forest isnât terrible, but I have a feeling I am about to get bodied soon. Anything I need to look out for?
Lol, just take it slow and explore. That is always how you should approach these games. Donât take obvious paths, check side areas. Do the same for the rest of the game for that matter
@ExposedD over here trying to warp to the minus world and shit, Mario-bros style.
For people that beat the game already, what was your level? Iâm around lvl 80ish atm Also, a big FUCK YOU whoever design the Nightmare of Nemsis zone. Jesus H Christ!
has anyone tried to get to this area?
I tried that jump like 15 times lol until I finally made it
wish they would have made jumping easier in this game
Optional as far as progression goes. Itâs highly recommended and beneficial, but by no means do you have to get the Rune Workshop Tool. You can clear the game without it.

Thereâs a much easier way to get down there without run jumping. Search YouTube or iâll make a video.
Yeah, thereâs actually a MUCH easier way to get to it every time once you figure it out. Basically, on the VERY first room length walkway, walk about 1/3rd of the way forward, turn around and you should see three ropes hanging down. Theyâre hanging right over a platform, so just roll straight toward those ropes and youâll land on a platform just above the door, then just drop down to the door platform.
Iâm pretty sure they put those ropes there on purpose, as a marker. If you do it this way youâll never miss it.
So I was staying the night at my brothers place the other night and he has a PS4 so I caved and bought Bloodborne and took it over there. We played from around 4 or 5 to like 3 in the morning. So thatâs how I was able to play even tho I donât have a PS4.
[details=Spoiler]My thoughts are that man itâs pretty amazing so far. In the two days we played we made it to old Yarnahm and so far I like everything Iâve seen. I donât remember the backround we chose for our character, probably whatever the default choice is. For weapons we went with the Threaded Cane but eventually ditched it for the Saw Cleaver. The first boss we found was Cleric Beast but no matter what we tried we couldnât beat him, so we decided to do more exploring. We down into the aqueducts and found the pig, killed it, explored all down there, climbed out the other side and eventually found Father Cascoigne. He whooped my ass. Thankfully we had unlocked the elevator shortcut so we took a few more shots at him and eventually got him. I was the first one to get him down low enough to transform. There was an audible âHoly shitâ when that happened. I was so stunned at the sudden change in pace to the fight that killed me before I could find my footing. I was a little pissed, but god damn that transformation was cool as fuck, really didnât expect it. I was feelin cocky to cuz figuring out his melee patterns and how to parry him wasnât too hard, but damn man he still got me.
After that we lit the lamp and explored to the Ooden (sp?) temple and lit the lamp there. Then I decided it was time to go back and give Cleric Beast what for. He still continued to whoop our ass, and I wasnât feelin the Threaded Cane anymore at this point. I seen you guys raving about it and i can see some of itâs good points, itâs got a really wide attack radius when transformed that works well, but against the boss it just felt way too weak. I went ahead and bought the Saw Cleaver, powered it up a little and went back and instantly was doing much better. After two or three more tries Cleric Beast went down.
We didnât get to do much after that, we explored enough to find and get through some of Old Yarnahm (gattling gun guy is a mother fucker). I managed to find the route up to the asshole on the gun but I turned around and went back to the Lamp because I had like 10k Blood Echos on me and didnât feel like risking a retrieval at that point. I never got a chance to head back and take him on sadly. I hope my bro is playing it on his own build, I know he was wanting to see what the axe was all about.[/details]
