I’ve never gotten to play on PC so I don’t know, but on console there is a good deal of frame issues in all 3 Souls games. Loading issues to from time to time, the inside of the anor Londo Cathedral wont load when you’re on the other side of the bridge, if you have the big doors open you can see nothing but sky inside there lol.

I honestly don’t understand if this is trying to be parody or if he actually seems to hate this game, the Souls game or anything that isn’t some obscure indie title that’s more political statement than game.
Never read a review that missed the point as hard as that one. It’s obvious he didn’t get far into the game as there’s no mention of runes, bloodstones, and beast mode anywhere.

Bonus: I somehow managed to loot an enemy AFTER I was already dead.
Currently at the Blood Starved Beast, I think that’s my only option at this point. The Cathedral area is blocked in every direction I go, I take it I have to down this boss to proceed?
Oh yeah, I accidentally shot mini gun asshole off the rooftop and the item he dropped was suspended in mid air and I couldn’t get it. Thankfully exiting and returning to the area left it resting atop the tower.
I beat the Blood Starved Beast and have no idea where to go next. I thought I had to go back to the area where I fought Father Gascoigne and found some hunter that’s giving me lots of trouble.
What bosses have you beaten?
Ok then didn’t see this coming. I killed the Blood Starved Beast and started wandering around, figured I’d go to back to the Cathedral area. Some OP enemy with a sack over his shoulder kills me and a cut scene triggers. In the Unseen Village now against enemies that can kill me in one hit. How in the flying fuck do I get out of here?
The music in this game is fucking sex.
There should be a lantern checkpoint not far from where you spawned.
If you have trouble finding it, just youtube it.

Well I raped everything in the area including the 2 giant hogs…THEN I found the lantern, fuck me.
Beat the shadow giant triplets 1st try by cheesing them on the steps. Fuck that fighting 3 bosses at one time shit. Might need better armor because every hurts me so much compared to others on youtube.
Rifle spear cofntinues to be godlike and bullet damage increase on this thing is getting serious. Makes fighting bosses so much easier when your charged R2 has crazy safe range that literally runs toward enemies before attacking.
Only problem is again no fucking 8dea where to go. Until further notice I’m gonna keep beating these dunguons till something changes. On layer 3 of first one now.
Also fuck that rolling giant guy. Like NO WAY he should move that fucking fast. He’s basically a fast moving hitbox that kills you in like one hit. NO COUNTER WINDOW ON THESE CHALICE BOSSES! Please save your bullets, it’s a waste that will piss you off.
Alright time to post my experience with the game in due time.
To start things off; I went with tradition of what i went through in Dark souls 1 the first time I ever played a souls game;
GF HAS PS4, SHE’S PRACTICALLY 2 HOURS AWAY BY BUS RIDE, IF I MISS A BUS, I GOTTA WAIT ANOTHER 30 MINS TO A HOUR HALF PER BUS
(3 buses each and if I miss any of the buses by chance, gotta wait 30 mins to an hour if unlucky for that one bus, missing multiple buses in a row is painful). TRAFFIC ALSO HAPPENED TO BE A HOUR LONGER THAN USUAL.
So all the deaths, all the time wasted… they’re ESPECIALLY HEAVY when you gotta take that long bus ride back home to hold that shit. Loading screen was nothing compared to the regret I had for fighting a boss for 2 hours and realizing I had to start exploring other areas so that i can finish up and go home on a better note. FUCK THE WHITE WOLF. Going to play through this game with very little to no help, not summoning other players for bosses.
But yeah, I love how the I’m using the torch almost the whole time because the lighting actually works in this game UNLIKE DARK SOULS 2 AHEM. Major plus for me. Happens to be a hunter’s torch that I found laying around and it’s actually a nifty offhand weapon that covers the left flank and is relatively fast. Hitbox and speed is similar to Dark soul’s Pyromancer Combustion on left hand which was a favorite off hand attack for me. Like how some enemies just flat out gets the fuck away from you with the torch out. Won’t say which. Damage isn’t too shabby, 60-80 or so unupgraded with low stats though compared to my 120 swings or w.e yeah… it’s a offhand attack that covers the left hand to finish things off at best.
Secondly, haven’t found my equivalent of a estoc yet but I do find all the weapons I found intriguing. Cleavers being really quick/high dps and having a solid midrange option is a plus for me, the greatsword trick weapon is alright but might replace it when I try out that crow weapon that’s 40k. The cleaver really reminds me of the Guillotine Axe from Demon souls and god that weapon was amazing short but insanely fast and hits like a truck so that’s a good thing.
I’m sticking to the traditional weapon master build of STR/DEX, might put points into blood tinge if needed so that i can try all the weapons I can plus getting huge bonuses from claymore like weapons C/C/C scaling kind of stuff
All in all. God like game. The game Dark souls 2 should have been.
Also, i’ve streamed the game and archived some bits of it not all since the stream archives kinda blew up from the amount of time i put into it
I’ll post some funny moments I had later. Next time I can play is the day after… gotta spend a whole day without access to the ps4 lamenting over that hour and a half of fighting that boss when I could have been exploring some more and leveling up. Can’t wait lol.
Buy the emblem from the messagers at Hunter’s Dream. It will unlock the gate that leads to the Grand Cathedral.
If you have any coins use them. It will show you where to go when your stuck.
Just killed the lava wolf on layer 3 and completed the first chalice. He had to be one of the easiest bosses so far.
Once again couldnt get the gunshot counter on him either confirming that 1st chalice is straight up dodge to win. Did stun him a ton with the charged R2 but he had an aoe fire attack that fucks you when you press advantage like the game is punishing you for doing well.
Found out the amount of insight you have makes enemies and bosses harder,smarter and have more health…so I bought bunch of bosses clothes with insight for no particular reason. :*
Just beat the stupid Cathedral boss, she killed me about 4 or 5 times until I finally downed that cunt. 
General question, I’ve been using mainly my starting weapon, saw clever, and with great success. Same goes for the hunter blunderbuss. I tried a few other weapons, even upgraded a few, but I seem to be getting best results with these two. Are these considered scrubby weapons cause I feel hella scrubby at times due to the success I’m having with them.
EDIT: Interesting, SRK censors the C-word on here? lolz. That’s fucking hilarious considering what the neanderthals on here are allowed to talk about in regards to women.
I fought the Crow Hunter at Grand Cathedral. Even on my level the battle is ridiculous. Her health is insane. I had to land parries just to get any kind of major damage in. I would be there forever if I kept poking her with my spear. The damage she does is stupid too. Haven’t fought another hunter that every attack was a potential one hit kill. I’m thankful I put her down on my first try.
