Bloodborne thread

If you have a whip blade you can zone him out round some of the gravestones in the first form.

Still really early in the game and all I have to say is where are my checkpoints? :disappointed:

Checkpoints are few and far between but there are a fuckton of shortcuts that eliminate the need.

Why throw a lantern down every five feet when you can just make the boss a few seconds’ walk by opening a door or two?

That’s how many times I died…

I’ve spoken to a couple of old ladies but they tell me to fuck off. Gonna keep searching.

Wolf form? Nigga, I can barely make it past ā€œSuper armour on my axe swings formā€. My parry timing must be shit because I give him that work when the fight starts but as soon as he starts powering through my attacks I just die lol. I need to upgrade to those unemployment parries.

Nice I thought you had to go to the wheelchair dude lol.

Yeah, I was using the gravestones to block the blunderbuss. I also managed to get him trapped behind the main statue.

The Wheelchair guy actually shows up in your game? That old man never at the mansion or by the third foundation when I go to Hunter’s dream.

Has anyone been to the Nightmare Lecture Building…?

This is the dumbest fucking weapon I want it so badly:

Lol I repaired my weapon and brought father asshole to a pixel but got greedy. This seems so easy now that I’ve been using that broken weapon this whole time. Dat handicap training paid off. Totally planned that shit.

No, I thought he’d come back eventually and provide services.

check this invasion out

This game has a lot of 1 star reviews on amazon, this one in particularly made me laugh

My feedback is the similiar to what others have noted.

No directions, no save points, no loot carry over between deaths, and no way to turn down difficulty. Then add in the 1m per death load times when you die this much, that pretty much killed this game for me. The AI decisions are also baffling. It seems half the enemies are 1 hit kills, the rest 1 hit kill you. Their also is either 1-2 enemies grouped or 6+ which you can’t win against, especially in the beginning.

Not entirely sure why everyone is so infatuated with this game, the graphics are good, but not what I would consider ā€œdefinitiveā€. The Order 1866 was equal, with a better story, and** much better game mechanics**.

Bottom line, save your money and years of your life, it’s not worth it IMO.

Welp, looks like someone discovered how to dupe.

Really going to be a pain in the ass to deal with people online who are OP as shit from this.

I was debating whether or not to bring it up…

Loving the game, had to stop for a while just to regain my real world senses. One problem with it so far though, I’m experiencing frame drops? Anybody else having this? It seems to slow down at some points, one specific point so far has been when you fight the large mob of enemies surrounding the bonfire, the tight road section before that creates a fair amount of frame dropping for me, and it kinda sucks and is really a big down-point of a so far great game. Is this just me or are other people having this issue.

That’s pretty normal for the Souls series games, they all have frame rate issues.

I hadn’t experienced any frame drops until just now in Old Yharnam.

Welp, found the Shadows of Yharnham boss.

Which is pretty much like the Ruin Sentinel boss from Dark Souls II except, ya know, actually hard.

Does anyone know if there’s a closer lantern to that boss? The closest one I have is the first Forbidden Woods light and that’s a looooooong ass trek through this place.

Edit: Holy shit, the shortcut to Central Yharnham through the Poison Cavern just blew my fucking mind. I couldn’t believe it for the first few seconds.

Soooooo, this just happened…

Apart from Blighttown, I’ve never actually had any frames issues with the Souls games. PC gaming I presume, the console versions I’ve heard do have some issues here and there, still I’m a little put off at the fact that the frame rate is dropping quite harshly in some spots, you’d expect a console exclusive to be quite well optimized.

Because I didn’t realize I could do that at that time.
