Bloodborne thread

I suck at this game. I keep losing to the first boss, and regular enemies rock me. My platinum tropies in all Souls games mean NOTHING.

It sucks the servers go down at 7 every Wednesday for me, so I can only play for 2 hours today.

I think I should just start over.

Do I needed to be killed by the enemy with the sack to be transported to the prison?

Does anyone else have problems viewing specters in places other than Hunter’s Dream?

From what I’ve seen, yes.

Also I’m a little bit confused on your directions to the Hemwick Witch or whatever. Which grand cathedral and which boss are you talking about? What lantern should I start at?

The Vicar Amelia boss. If you beaten her already then the Grand Cathedral lantern is the closest one. If not then you’ll have to ascend the staircase from the Grand Cathedral plaza until you reach to blue-greenish door guarded by to priests wielding large three pointed logs. When you get this door go to the path on the left.

Also, that sack enemy spawns at Cathedral Ward straight ahead from the lantern and around the corner where the flock of crows use to be. It saved me a trap from having to go down the abyss.

What is the Vicar? Where is this Grand Cathedral? Where is its plaza? You’re talking in circles man lol. I don’t have a Grand Cathedral lantern, I only have the Cathedral Ward.

Sounds like you haven’t access the areas I’m talking about. You’ll need the Hunter Cheif Emblem to access the Grand Cathedral. Go to back to the Ward lantern and go to the path on the left where the old lady is sitting (assuming you recused her). When your outside go straight away and ignore the priest. Go towards the other priest that’s crossing the bridge and you will get to gate that’s being guarded by some giant king zombie. Ascend the staircase and you’ll find the Grand Cathedral.

Ah, now I know exactly what you’re talking about. I might still have to pick up that emblem. Gracias señor.

In before some faggot claims the loading times after death are part of the “experience”.

I’ve only found one lamp in Yarnham. There must be another one somewhere.

I mean, the loading times have always been an issue in the Souls games, besides MAYBE Demon’s every now and then. I’m not sure why people are deciding to fuss about it all of a sudden. At least you don’t have to deal with loading screens every five minutes or the game freezing to load a new area (looking at you Destiny), unless you’re warping somewhere.

If you’re by the central Yharnam one, you probably won’t see another until you defeat the area boss.

I played the Souls games on PC. Never had to deal with load times like this. Even then 40 second load times is far too long. It will get annoying as this is the type of game where you die frequently.

Yo @“The Martian” the hidden village prohibits ALL multi-player I think. Or at least it does when you first arrive. You can’t PvP or co-op at all

lol I don’t remember any shit loading times in DkS.

I used a bell to try to get some help against the Darkbeast and no one is showing up. Everything this guy does to me is a one hit kill.

I had two people help me out with the Darkbeast. You can ring the bell right in front of his door and just sit there and wait. That’s what I did. Still couldn’t kill it.

Also, everyone knows the loading problems with the Souls games weren’t an issue on PC

I am pretty sure Darkbeast is something you should be doing later on. He’s way stronger than anything else right now, same goes for the mobs

Yeah, next on my list is to clear out the Grand Cathedral area. Haven’t even stepped foot in there, so there should be plenty of Blood Echoes for the taking
then I’ll try the Darkbeast again.

Has anyone bought that Holy Sword or whatever the messengers sell in the Hunter’s Dream for like 20,000 Echoes? It looks cool.

I bought the holy sword. In it’s alternate form it acts like a greatsword from Dark Souls. It’s main form is like a stand straight sword.
