I haven’t yet but I did find Thor’s Hammer. It’s called Tonitrus, and yeah it’s a mace with a trick function that electrifies it. What’s significant compared to old self buff weapons is if can be buffed while moving, takes no stamina, and no durability, but instead only lasts a short time. Still, quite awesome.
And yeah that area is where I saw the hunter with the Tonitrus, that guy is to the right whereas the witches are apparently to the left of that place hawkingbird was talkin about
BTW, anyone else find the “Hunter’s Torch”? What’s different about this one compared to the regular “Torch” is it can be upgraded! Sweet. Having that in one hand and Tonitrus in the other is super sweet looking lol
It’s locked but there is an Insight event like the one near the Cathedral Ward lantern. I’m guessing you need more Insight or some item to get past there because it looks like a shrine or an altar. There’s two hunters there though so be careful.
Actually, just outside the alter there’s two fat knights and 2 snipers also so REALLY be careful lol
The spear saw is kicking a lot of ass for me, I started with the axe, which is good against large enemies because of the damage and range, but it felt too slow in a lot of cases. The spear has almost as much range, has slashing attacks similar to the cleaver, and it has a lot of good pokes.
I just got the Flamesprayer(which is right next the the Central Yarnham checkpoint), does anyone know if it’s worth upgrading? It seems like it has potential to be a real ass kicker.
Flamesprayer sucks against small enemies because they don’t really get hitstun but it’s great against some bosses or enemies that you could not ever hitstun normally. It drains QSbullets really fast though so definitely more of a DoT weapon vs bosses. And of course vs enemies weak to fire, they die.
Apparently when you use a Beast Blood Pellet, it makes a bar appear that you have to fill up by attacking enemies with your right hand weapon. While it’s there it keeps draining though so in order to fill it up you really have to keep attacking a lot. The guy testing it hasn’t even been able to fill it up yet, but it seems using that item, and perhaps a more powerful version of it later on, is the key.
Just tried it myself and the bar drains REALLY FAST. You’d need to fight a boss or have tons of enemies around to do it…
I can’t escape this game. Two new ENB episodes in my Youtube feed, and I’m sure A German Spy and some others are soon to follow. Been wanting new ENB episodes but I had hoped I would have the game by now
I got killed by that vortex in the shrine @Gasaraki warned me about with the hunters, snipers and hooded guys. I wished he warned me about that too. I remember seeing the vortex as well in the location of the gif.
Lol you haven’t seen that yet? It happens just to the left exit for Cathedral Ward. It’ll happen right where you pick up one of the clothing sets. That’s how it got me the first time, I was picking it up and while examining it I got grabbed lol.
There’s another place it happens too, in the same area. Instead of heading to Henwick, go right and at the bottom where that altar thing is, another one of those strange light flares happens that grabs you like that. You can see a faint outline of some weird ass hand thing too…
Also, I am really having trouble on Vicar Amelia. I’m on my 3rd try but I can’t really get a handle on how to fight her.
I was like “Oh, I guess this is some sort of power up, I wonder what it- OHGODWHATTHEFUCKISTHATHOLYSHITICANTSEEITBUTICANANDITSFUCKINGWEIRD”.
The biggest nope moment for me in this game so far.
First one was that giant monster in the sewers that you can see slightly down the dark tunnel(and it looks intimidating and hard to make out), before I actually hit it and saw that it was just a big dumb pushover pig.
