It’s where I got mine. If you continue to talk to the guy at the window he will give you the flamethrower. If you see a red lamp near a door or window there’s an NPC you can talk to.
HOLY CRAP IT’S SO INTENSE. You dont’ really get stunlocked because hitstun doesn’t last long enough to get combos in, plus guns and not having shields just really changes how it feels
Jeez, SO fun. I lost but you don’t lose anything if you lose, just respawn at most recent lantern
I’ve beaten the first two bosses, but still can’t upgrade my weapons. Is it farther in the story, and how do I access my storage, or repair weapons? I want to use the cane some more but its degraded so much it barely does any damage.
It’s an area a little ways past the “Old Yharnam” lantern, past a door that was locked at first but then became open to me for some reason. A man will start talking to you in the distance and then once you get to a certain point, he starts firing from a clock tower wayyyyyy high up in the map.
You reach Old Yharnam through a secret tunnel in that GIGANTIC cathedral. It’s the middle room that you can enter from the front door. There’s a lever you pull in it on the second floor, and it moves a stone statue to reveal a hidden pathway under the church. There’s also an NPC in that area you should probably talk to.
Just make sure you bring a torch down there with you…
@Hecatom you me both. It’s past midnight here now and TODAY is the day where i can finally go and pick the game up in the store i pre-ordered it at.
I’m gonna catch up to our north american friends real fast hopefully i’ll run into hawkingbird at some point too and make him turn off his PS4.
Anyone experiment with bloodstones yet? Trying some combos whenever a boss gives me trouble. I like that you can which them out freely. It very encourages you to experiment.
Pretty awesome game so far though. Managed to kill the first boss on my second attempt. Couldn’t get past the second boss but I’ma come back with my big hammer and some molotovs and get even after work tomorrow…
Just finishing beating the Witch of Hemwick. Man is that an annoying boss. The adds in that fight were more trouble than the boss herself. It’s possible to beat while completely ignoring them.
Good looking @“The Martian” for the location of Old Yharnam. I completely missed it. That whole area was a cakewalk. The enemies were piss easy, the Gatling gun is easily avoidable and blood-starved beast was a bitch. Most of his attacks were parry bait. The two hunters I fought there were more of a challenge than that douche. Gatling man was tough dude to bring down.
