It’s single player focused, but there’s a shit ton of multiplayer aspects as well and it’s a big part of the game, just like any other Souls.

You can! There’s a robust amount of options for female characters too. I was heavily contemplating on the character creation screen as to what gender I should make my character since there’s a bunch of customizations you can make that the Souls games didn’t let you make, like voice.

I did co-op to get some help beating a boss. Once my partner gets summoned I got invaded shortly after. It’s happened the two times I did it.
Apperantly the game begins looking for invaders as soon as you summon someone so you’re chances of being invaded go up dramatically when you summon someone for co-op.

Yup. Suck it you duck and dodger!!! I told you, you’ can’t have co-op without invasions, they go hand in hand, they are a fundamental part of the overall experience.

Actually the way invading works is that it summons a bell maiden. If an invader wants to invade it looks for a world with a bell maiden. However if the host kills the bell maiden it stops more invasions from happening. It doesn’t send back an invader who’s already there I think though.
Also I’ve helped about 3 people in co-op and never been invaded while doing so yet lol.
Actually, hawkingbird if you want some help let me know, I have no experience with PvP in Bloodborne yet but I do have general PvP experience in Souls.

Flamethrower is pretty good against bosses. Against weaker enemies, it doesn’t stun them or deal enough burst damage to be useful but against bosses who can’t be stunned anyway you can get some good damage in. Uses a lot of ammo but I just helped someone kill the Cleric Beast with it pretty easily.
I just started this game and I have already died 100 times. This mothafucka hit me twice and killed me and I had 3400 of the blood echos or whatever it is that counts as money/xp
I need to find that. I beat the Father a while ago and I’m already balls deep in the area past him, and I still haven’t seen it.

You’re actually pretty close to the flamethrower if you want me to tell you where it is. And no, haven’t seen her yet again, I’m gonna spend some time getting some co-op in then look for a good invasion spot
The game is dope but I’ll have to wait till tommorow so I can get more play time since tommorow is my friday. This is my first souls game and y’all weren’t playing with how difficult this shit could be. ALmost got a heart attack from mothafuckas just jumping out of nowhere.
Found a Monocular. It works like Binoculars and lets you manually aim guns but it’s MUCH better than the old binocs were. Very useful
EDIT: OH MY GOSH IT LETS YOU MANUALLY AIM THROWABLES LIKE KNIVES AND MOLOTOVS TOO.
Edit2: Wow, you can even melee with it equipped but you can’t run or roll. HOWEVER you are in a constant “locked on” state so you can manually do sidesteps without being locked on. I should note however that you can’t actually lock on for real while you have it on.
You get the flamethrower from the window next to the locked gate to the left of lamp in Central Yharnam.
Sorry, just noticed this, and no I didn’t but my GUESS is that those ones were from players who were playing before street date cause I can see most of them fine now
