There’s something really satisfying about standing above Micolash and blasting that asshole with a Bone Marrow Ash powered Evelyn repeatedly. Worst Souls boss ever.
Do you enjoy the game? Do you enjoy the game’s lore and want to learn more? Do you enjoy challenging gameplay? If you answered yes to all of those, the DLC is probably worth $40, but you’re getting a good deal at $20. You should buy it.
Got my blood tinge up to 35 now and just killed the Wet Nurse. Even with my meager gems this +10 Chikage is pretty fucking powerful. And I had plenty of insight for another blood rock for my Evelyn. And I haven’t done the dlc yet, so I’ll have another blood rock for the bow blade. I am saving that bitch Ebreitas for last.
That boss was a joke. I had trouble fighting him at first because whenever he’d start making that weird AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH sound I’d start laughing, because he sounded like Dennis from Always Sunny in this scene:
God damn, blood tinge builds are no joke. I got it up to 50 and decided to fight Amygdala in the Nightmare Frontier. Fight lasted less than 20 seconds I’d say.
Man, the giant fish guys really push the boundary between “challenging but fun” and “outright cheap bullshit”. It’s like From thinks “Well, we don’t know how to make this enemy a challenge so just make the hit box on its attack as big as the fucking screen.”
And before anyone says it, I know I know “Get gud” or whatever. I mean I platinumed the game so it’s not like I don’t know how to play it.
Nah, that pit is just cheap bullshit, same with the cursed dungeon. Only two areas that I felt they kinda ran out of creativity in terms of challenge. Micholas can suck my dick too, worst souls boss next to the Bed of Chaos.
The hitbox isn’t really the biggest problem with the sharks, though it’s a bit overboard. The challenge with them is their crazy tracking and delayed attacks. I got pretty decent at fighting them, and I still NEVER felt comfortable.
And as said, I cheesed the hell out of that well fight because screw that. It’s just not a fun fight. I say it’s the hardest encounter there is in the game outside of getting REALLY unlucky with a random chalice. Even playing the walls isn’t safe, because I feel like if one shark is out of sight, suddenly you find him lunging and swimming around towards you without anything but an audible warning.
That’s true, especially with the one who carries the anchor. His reach and tracking are absurd. I thought Ebreitas was bad with her charge but doesn’t have shit on this dude. It doesn’t help that my +10 Chikage at level 50 blood tinge is about as useful as throwing a pebble at him.
It sucks because the fishing hamlet is possibly the coolest environment in the game aside from Cainhurst IMO. But I dread going there because I know I’m about to deal with some extreme bullshit. Doesn’t help that there are fucking lanterns right there next to them too haha.
Ugh, maybe I really do need to take a break from Bloodborne. I said that after initially getting the plat but I really wanted to try out that blood tinge build. My crazy ass back log is calling though.
Which would you guys suggest I play first, Arkham Knight or MGS5.
My bowblade couldn’t reach, so I had to hop down from the ledge, aggro him, run up the ladder, run allllllllll the way back through the entire fishing hamlet, go back down the elevator and THEN start shooting him from the ledge.
