Artorias fought with a broken arm, it wasn’t missing tho.
Yea my favorite boss fight is still Artorias.
I think the easiest boss of the BB DLC is the Living Failures.
Gherman is one of the best fights in BB’s non-DLC content, especially when you learn about his backstory and lore. His character is so incredibly tragic, and yet he remains completely selfless in his intentions. I found it extremely saddening listening to his monologue about being tired being inside the Hunter’s Dream, begging to be freed from his torment. Even still, he does not want hunters to suffer the same fate as him, endlessly living on in the Dream, and chooses to free them instead of finding a way out. Combine his lore with his melancholy boss theme and set piece, you have an amazing boss fight.
The whole time I was fighting Gehrman, I was like, “Please let me help you my friend… I know I killed your waifu before coming here, just look over that.”
Fuckin sick though.
Doll’s fingers aren’t segmented like the real Doll’s. 4/10
Hello fellows,
I have a friend that recently bought a PS4.
He has broken many controllers in his life playing video games.
Should I recommend this game to him?
Thank you.
I wish there was a random boss rush mode.
Made a short video about the DLC. Mild spoilers but only up to first boss so pretty safe.

It’s not a review, lore video, or gameplay focused video, it’s more of my observations of some of the possible messages of the DLC, and the game in general for that matter
My blood tinge build is coming along nicely. Managed to kill Logarius on level 45 or so with some help.
Think im gonna give up on getting the the Rakuyo. Ive been at it for around a week now and these shark monsters arent fun to fight. In fact their legit cheap. They do way too much damage, their combos are way too long with too much range, and their hit boxes are bullshit. I just got killed by one while i was behind it. Dude swingin his ancor like a dick, i dash behind him, line up an R2, hes still facing away from me, does another swing and somehow i die.
Its just not fun. Im tired of it.
Psst, @crotchpuncha.
The tunnel with the singing lantern ladies, that leads into the well area from the area where you enter the OoK boss fog.
Spoiler
Hit the first shark with a ranged weapon to draw him closer, and he can’t get into the tunnel. Equip a weapon with good reach, and smack him in the head until the other guy drops. Then smack them both in the head until they’re both dead.
Easypie.
You can also do it legit with the shaman blade or whatever. I agree though that the fight is annoying as fuck lol Rakuyo is definitely worth it though
I’ve been trying the Shamen Bone Blade strat all week. I’m tired of farming them lol.
I’ll probably do the above and snipe the shit out of them with my Bowblade when I get to that point. Fuck trying to do that any kind of legit way.
It’s not much easier with the Bowblade, either. I tried that too. Once you aggro him with the first shot, he’ll run up on you and spam that sliding attack against the ledge where the Winter Lanterns walk around and it’s hard to shoot at him without getting hit yourself. Went in with 25 Vials, and 20 bullets, and ran out of blood vials to make blood bullets before I was even able to get him below half health. Shit is dumb. Maybe that’s just cause it was on NG+ 3, though.
I said fuck it and went into NG+ 4 the other day. Maybe once I get to that point again we can meet up and help each other kill those fuckers.
So I just hit NG+ & was wondering, is the Old Hunters worth the $20? Or could I should I wait for the inevitable sale. Contemplating just getting it now, but wondering if I should just hold off.
Is the sky blue? Does the sun rise from the East? Is life worth living?
