Watch this. It’s a bit long, but it explains all of the lore in Bloodborne in chronological order, making it easy to digest. This doesn’t account for the DLC, but for the main story, things should make a lot more sense after you watch it. Bloodborne’s lore is actually really fascinating to me.
It’s like if Sony had asked Capcom to make PS All Stars, using all the assets/workings from SFIV with new skins. Ryu is Drake, and Chun is Nariko. IMO it’s lazy as hell. It should also speak for the laziness of From Soft, if I thought the characters reminded me of Tenchu Z (also a From game) BEFORE I knew Bloodborne was a From game.
Tomb Raider. Looks as good as most of whats out this gen. Defintely better than Bloodborne.
The player character models in BB definitely are not great, they’ve never been a strong point of the series, and I wish they put more work into it. That said, everything else in the game is amazing, Yharnam, the Forest, the enemy animations, the boss animations and designs in general, basically ANYTHING that wasn’t made with their character creator, so even Gascoigne, but not Alfred, is amazingly well made.
No the graphic fidelity isn’t the craziest, but the actual art DESIGN, what really makes a fictional world believable, is superb. It may not be to your taste, it may not be to a visual, graphical fidelity you prefer, but it IS good art design.
i think i’m 75% done with everything in the DLC. But i’m gonna STOP now.

Fam… I would love to see some over the top Wushu Souls game where you start out going round to temples and shit and you eventually end up fighting dragons, anthropomorphic tigers, buddhas, and spirits. FUCC, this game will never exist but I just hyped myself up for it.
I’m like 103/104 on NG+ got to Ludwig last night I’m pretty sure I got the strat down but not doing as much damage as I wanna be. I’d wager if ur anything lower than that ur in for an even tougher fight it’s not TOO hard though
I just want a souls/dragon’s dogma mix with all the best elements from each game. Have drastically different classes like making the hunter a base class, ninjas from tenchu with their advanced movement a base class, then something like knights/pyromancers from souls and the casters and pure caster classes from DD. For ppl online co-op and the ability to borrow a friends character to help similar to a pawn.
Make is so you can do enemy specific preset options for your character when the use them.
Tomb raider on the last gen (let alone next gen consoles) was no where near as good. The fact that the huge environment that you can see is explorable (just like dark souls), and how much attention to detail is included is crazy. There is such a huge area that you can explore without any loading necessary but I’ve played tomb raider through and there’s loading here there and everywhere.
Also, how can you bash a game for being like dark souls, when it was promoted that way? that’s like complaining that gran torismo 6 is similar to gran turismo 5…? It also isn’t that much like dark souls in terms of combat. I play it very different and much more aggressive which is the point seeing as there is no parry system.
