As long as Eileen is dead you can at least buy her weapon. And as mentioned, there’s only one blood rock per play through aside from Chalice Dungeons and finding one will take a pretty considerable amount of time I’m guessing. I think you’re probably good to go unless you want to wait to do the dlc first.
I don’t have a ton of experience with NG+ but I don’t think it’s that unbalanced. You’ll notice a difference but not that dramatic. I didn’t start having any real trouble til I got to Rom. She seemed a lot harder.
When I went to NG+ on my recent Holy Blade Build I was back to 3 shotting enemies and dying in about 3 or 4 hits which is about where you are when you start the game.
Some of the bosses are tougher tho I will agree. I am currently on the Shadows of Yarhnam in NG+ on that build and they are quite a bit more durable.
I don’t think he was implying it was unbalanced. It just scales up pretty high on your very first NG. it’s not like the game actually gets harder anyway, everything just does more damage. the other thing too though is it FEELS like enemy levels are a bit more even throughout, though I could be wrong about that
I did know that actually. I even tried to use them on the Shadows the last time I played (Ask Gasa) but I missed with the first 3 and am saving the last one to use on one of the eyeball bugs in Burgenworth to deal with the Choir Hunter inside the school.
I think this is the case as well, but we should also take into consideration that we aren’t leveling anywhere near as fast and often as we where in NG+ so stuff at the end is still scaling up but we aren’t doing the same as often.
I went to the place you have to be in order to start the DLC, turns out there’s a hunter there (Eilleen’s quest I believe) that I never fought before and he’s wrecking my level 78 character. Fuck. The rage is already beginning.
Yeah, and even though it was supposedly patched out you can still fuck with him on the stairs leading out of the cathedral. I’ve had him do pretty significant damage to himself with his Chikage’s life drain while I was standing at the bottom of the stairs.
Man I’m pissed. My PS4 is back to giving me disc read errors, but again…only for this game. I uninstalled it and then re-installed, tried loading other games (All of which boot up fine) and then Bloodborne, I wiped the disc off (Tho it’s not even dirty and has no scratches), tried everything I can think of. Fucking stupid. Have to try and take advantage of the Black Friday sale for this game and get a new copy I guess. If this copy works in my Bros PS4 then I guess he can have it…So fucking annoyed right now.
