Is it possible to save Gehrman then die to the Moon Presence to get his gear?
Are you in Europe? Not sure when it unlocks for Europe. For the US, it unlocks at November 23rd 9 PM PST/November 24th 12 AM EST.
You can kill Gehrman, get his hunter badge, and then die or use a Bold Hunter’s Mark during the Moon Presence fight if you don’t want to complete the game.

You monster. Gehrman is one of the best characters in the game too. His lore is pretty tragic.
