I went back and read most of the Aizen Invasion yesterday (ironically) and made me think of some stuff (which IMO can somewhat explain your power level bit there Hecatom)
So once Air Aizen “evolved” into condom Aizen, Isshin/Urahara/Yoruchi couldn’t feel his reiastu. Which I didn’t understand when I first read it as a new chapter and rereading it yesterday. But then once Isshin/Ichigo start to head to real Kara town, Isshin’s like “Ichigo could you feel his reiatsu at all” or some sort. Ichigo’s clearly like “yea I felt it”. Ichigo assumed (at least I guess) the others felt his spiritual pressure so he never really took thought of it (at the moment). I’m pretty sure Isshin understood though.
anyway fast forward, hyperbolic time chamber happens, composed older Ichigo pops out and all of a sudden Aizen can’t feel his reiatsu. He just brushes it off as a inferior being which in reality it’s just Ichigo compressing the fuck out of it and actually being able to control it to whatever part of his body he feels the need to put it.
Now my guess (and i’m only guessing/assuming) even when Condom Aizen’s reiatsu couldn’t be felt by the others minus ichigo, Ichigo was still stronger than Aizen. But that’s only because at this point Ichigo was still pouring out his usual fuckton of reiatsu like any other day. It’s just the usual wild uncontrolable bit that it’s always been. But then long hair don’t care Ichigo pops out and Aizen can’t feel his spiritual pressure and it’s obviously clear he’s stronger than him.
tl;dr plot armor Ichigo was already stronger than aizen but can’t control it yadda yadda everyone has said it.
either way nice to see Aizen mentioned. Only a matter of time to have “just as planned” in a black panel pop up in the most unexpected time. Otherwise this chapter was a waste.
Can he plz die already so we can get the flashback where they explain why they hired a fucking dog to be captain.

You know, i always felt that what kubo implied with for example Aizen not being able to feel the Ichigo’s reiatsu was more in the lines on that Ichigo’s power grow into another dimension outside of the scope of what Aizen could feel.
Just like in the typical example on how if there were living forms on a 2d dimension they wouldn’t be able to see or interact with a 3d living being, unless in some way he some how interacted moving through the 2d plane where those 2d creatures live, of course they would be only able to see a shadow of said life form.
So if we apply the same logic to the power levels
Normal Human is 1d
Shinigamis, Vizards 2d
Aizen, Ichigo 3d
Full Power Ichigo 4d

this chapter isnt bad, i dont like how they pulled the twins outta left field but we knew sumtin was up. no way the main baddie was goin out like a punk so easily. i dont see why everyones complaining…prob cause you all tried to think how was he gonna escape logically and forgot…this is a fuckin kids manga. pulling shit outta ya ass is a damn plot device.
nope I completely understand. That’s kinda what I was getting at except I suck at explaining it and forgot how Aizen was talking about the 2d/3d plane bit.
meanwhile, Aizen is preparing the pre-order list for the throwbacks.
yama isn’t dead. only reason Bach can compete with Yama is because he can steal Bankai. Bach will die to a Lv. 3 Bankia, something that CC obvioiusly did not have due to being stupid strong. That or the unknown player confronting Utikate has the ability to hide reitatsu and Bankai

JB must assume he needs some major firepower if he’s really trying to take on the King or whatever “it” is. Plus, the Quincy endgame still depends on the King’s Key, right? Too bad the guy who could copy memories just died. He could’ve found out how to make it. Whoops.
If the Vizards and the other captains continue to get bodied like this then I smell the Royal Guard incoming. If Mayuri and Unohana can’t do anything against this guy despite the fact that the two of them have the most intel on Quincy innards (assuming Captain Mom studied them too), it’s over. Call up the RG and fall back.
It would be really funny if when Ichigo finally gets there, everyone has been bodied and then…
