The Ice Dragon Hyorinmaru is equally as broke, but the little kid is too weak put that full leash on him…

They MUST animate this final story! It would be a criminal act to leave this in manga form.
Since it is apparently the last story, I’d also prefer to see the rest of the characters finally go all out. Unohanna needs to show up and kill people just from the energy released by preparing to release bankai…then actually using it to kill the enemies that managed to survive the initial wave of spirit energy from the powerup… reveal that Yammamoto indeed has some 3rd powerup that goes beyond bankai… show Urahara Kiske and the other elites going all out too. When it’s the last story, why not lay it all out on the table? Even from the perspective of the characters---- if you’re facing an enemy that is an extreme threat, and your intention is obviously to kill them before they kill you… there’s no sense in holding back any kind of secret, ultra techniques you have.
They’ll probably just OVA this last part of the series. Not only do they get to avoid the annoyance of filler (especially since they suck at filler), they should have a higher animation quality.
They animated the guys Zanpaktou in the movie… and the old man had to get him back…
And isn’t a general rule that they have to be able to best their zanpaktou in battle to control it/full extent of it’s power(bankai)?
im fine with them leaving this arc as a manga, the art is much better that way
From what I know is not a rule, so far only Ichigo and Ichin have been said to need to do that, while other bankai users have needed to learn how to communicate with their swords, and have been show meditating in order to do it better.
