Oh I’m actually not trying to compare quality, I think I enjoyed Bleach the most this weak…it was just a real short chapter…
Kenpachi didn’t really break and tropes though…everyone knew he was going to get whooped by the Juha. Now if he some how killed all of them…then we’d be talking a bit differently…
In that same vein, I think eveyrone is expecting CC to either get his bankai sstolen, get it stolen and die, or just out right get killed. Soul Society is going to fall, and Ichigo will get there after its all said and done. Hitsu will have ot come ot the real world in a gigai and livei n Ichigo’s room while they train up. The imbalance wil lbe address by Zero Squad and after everyone whoops the Qunicy’s ass, Hitsu becomes the new CC, and IChigo goes to college…
That’s what I’m talking about. She’s the only Captain we haven’t seen fight. Ever. I want to see her fuck shit up even if it’s without using Bankai or even Shikai.
She uses her Shikai for physicial attacks/soak damage and actually fights with Kido. That’d be boss.
In the basement of a library somewhere in SS waiting for the old man to release his Bankai so she can extract the hougyoku 2 from inside of Ichigo. Just as planned.
I like how many people keep bringing the fact that the captain is going to use his bankai in this battle at the very beginning as jobbing.
Remember people, this is not the 1st time that they fight each other, if he is using his last resort, is simply because he knows that he can’t win this battle without using it.
Plus if he decided to use it, is because he is sure that contrary to the other jobbers, his bankai wouldn’t be stolen
Yeah but…clearly everyone in Soul Society is supposed to job to these Quincies so you might be expecting too much. The fights so far should have been good.
Byakuya, the guy with the super Shunpo’s taught to him by Yoruichi, and the only guy who consistently used Kido…jobbed to a quincy without using any Kido, or fancy Shunpo. He didn’t even go for the Byakuya special (chain link and soul sleep combo), and instead he just lost to a rip off of Karasu from Yuyu Hakusho. You’d think he’d have used that forbidden anti-kido barrier he used against Zommari. But nope…he had to job.
Where’s Hachigen? He doesn’t even use a Bankai, he just beasts people with Kido. Nowhere to be found. Where does Soifon get off getting her Bankai stolen when her Shikai is broken, and she can just use Shunko? Her not using Shikai against Barragan made sense. But against a Quincy, when she’s the queen of assassins? Eh…lame.
These fights are not meant to be good. They’re meant to show how awesome and badass the Quincy are. I wish I could get more hype about seeing Genryuusai’s Bankai, but since he’s up against a guy who can steal it, and someone he has to job to, I can’t get excited. I feel cheated. The only consolation is that Juha might not steal his Bankai in order to prove how badass he is.
Honestly I’ve been turned off since Kisuke miraculously didn’t check to see whether that guy was dead. So far the only consolation to all of this jobbing has been that Zaraki took out three of them with the eye patch still on. Seeing bondage style Halibel was pretty sweet though.
I expect Grimmjaw to be the one pointing the sword at Kisuke. I’m not really sure how the arrancar are going to have a hand in the final battle, but I’m sure the four remaining Espada will show up. At the very least we should be seeing stacked Nel again.
The only thing I don’t understand is that Kirge guy telling Ichigo that Letzer Stil was a crappy compared to Vollstandig. Aside from the poison, Ishida pretty much shut down Mayuri. That Kirge guy was complaining about how he could only use defense mode against Ichigo, and that it wasn’t enough to win. Ishida’s version strikes me as better. Hopefully Kubo will explain…but we still don’t even know why Yoruichi doesn’t use a Zanpakuto so…
