It’s obvious this dude is on the level of Captain Commander though, and they are saving the screen time for this fight. Captain Commander is going to lose, everyone will be surprised, they might have to retreat/regroup or get assisted by zero squad.

i dont get this…what is there to draw?
Will Eisner once said something along the lines of “all i need to draw is a chair, a lamp, and a window in the right places and you know you’re in a room” and in fact, if you check out his comics, he will do one or two panels where he does a bit of background just to establish the scene, and the rest will be blank background panels. Kubo does the same thing here. we never lose track of where the characters are, so the job is done. he doesn’t need to do anything more to tell the story. textbook storytelling
