Well of course you can skip those…they’re anime filler (not particularly good ones at that).
Long story short of Xcution arc, Ichigo gets powers back against enemy that’s great at mindfucking you, his friends are still jobbers, Kenny and Byakuya were bosses. The end.
Coulda saved me a fortune on aspirin if I had simply waited to see this instead of that arc.

I think I kept watching that filler arc because I just knew Quick Silver: The Bount Airbender was going to be that raw villain… but he wasn’t :bluu:
bount arc was such a waste of time. I don’t even know how I sat through it every week because I surely didn’t enjoy it.
Sad part is, that arc was the one time Uryu wasn’t completely useless and was actually handing Jin’s ass to him…but then he remembered he’s Uryu.
yeah that Bounto arc… this was one of my first long & ongoing animes (aka more than 50-60 episodes), and as I did not read Bleach manga, I actually though its part of the anime, especially when hollow ichigo appeared against that metal-spider bounto summon shit… after I finished watching it… damn it was so dull. Compared Bounto vs Muramasa arc, it was like "from zero to hero and then back to zero in Fullbring arc (lol it took me almost 10minutes until “fullbring” came to my mind) muramasa arc at least has many awesome moments, like byakuya x kenpachi, kenpachi pwning 2 (or 3 it was?) true form zanpakuto at once, then fight in the cave starring Kenpachi again, there was a lot of Kenpachi stuff and maybe thats why I liked it somehow, but Ichigo’s final fight was dull crap… I wonder what will be in newest chapter this week.

I like how everyone is putting themselves together when the watch the CC entering the battle, of course knowing kubo, we probably would have a good battle ahead, but in the end the CC would be dead, which would hit hardly the moral of all the shinigamis.
… I hate offscreen battle… just outcome, fuck that shit.

it was expected…we all knew kenpachi was going to get dropped. Skip the foreplay. Just be happy he got his shine…no matter how brief it was.

I can almost see kubo going to Hueco Mundo now, just to leave us in suspense, bonus points if the battle between th King and CC happens offscreen

Seeing CC go crazy was so fukkin awesome!! You know the off panel Kenpachi aint that bad would we really wanna see Ken get jobbed? Hells no not me. This keeps him as strong as ever he went toe to toe with Juha to establish just how beastly Juha is.
We might actually shit bricks when Juha solos CC.

When I first read this chapter I was like WTF but now that I think about it it was the best way to do it. As much as everyone in here likes Kenpachi I don’t think anyone thinks he could beat the old man in a fight, so if you saw him fight kenpachi it would just be weird to watch kenpachi get his ass kicked. If you want to put a new enemy on the Captain Commander’s level they would also need to be able to body Kenpachi for free, but does anyone really want to watch that?
Doing it this way doesn’t take anything away from Kenpachi because you already knew he couldn’t beat Yama jeezy in a fight so if this guy is just as strong so he didn’t really have a chance.
Ken patchy (fuckin iPad) being untouchable except for I chinos plot bullshit was one of my favourite things about this manga, I’m sad.
