The Quincies all shoot arrows and can use different types of weaponry like swords, guns and spears.
And they can all use Blut Vene, Blut Arterie, Sklaverie, Letzt Still and Vollstanding.
The only difference is their unique ability like shown with Kirge’s Jail ability to capture all types of non Quincy beings, Royd’s ability to clone and, As Nodt fear effect with his daggers and now Bazz-B with fire.
And Kirge used Vollstanding and Sklaverie against Ichigo.
So he’s finally reached his potential, eh? His zanpaktou is the smallest difference in power between shikai and bankai? Sounds good to me. At least he’s not completely useless anymore. I will admit, though, that I like seeing that Matsumoto can actually aid in the battles again.

He’s using teamwork with Matsumoto so he doesn’t get all the credit.
And Hitsugaya is smart, but being smart is nothing compared to power. Gin and Byakuya who are both considered geniuses just like him would agree.
I would say that if Kubo somehow makes Hitsugaya prevail against a high level Quincy with just Shikai, that would be the biggest shit he has ever written as an author and should just quit the writing business altogether.
But IMO, this is just Hitsugaya’s last hurrah and I’m okay with it if that’s the case…for now.
It’s more so that his Bankai is just his shikai on crack, and that it doesn’t increase his overall power as much as other Bankai do. His shikai is already pretty darn powerful, is what he’s implying. Fighting without Bankai is not as much as loss for Toshiro as it would be for say Mayuri.

It kinda makes sense last time they were losing because they seriously said Quincys ? lets stomp these low tier bitches out and get back to running things. Quincy just had better prep time and got the upperhand. Now Soul Society went back to basics they are pretty much saying its back to killing folks with swords straight up. Expect to see Kido and shit used because the Quincys might have the upperhand but they got their asses whipped ages ago for a reason.

Also since Hitsu is still young, his Bankai (though achieved) hasn’t nearly reached his potential. It makes sense the difference in power between the two is smaller since he hasn’t fully developed his Bankai.
So he created a vacuum to suck out the air and dispel the flames? What about the flames that aren’t between the thin sheets of ice, like if Bazz B were to hit the thin ice with more fire right now?
I don’t see what the confusion here is. How many times in the series has it been overtly stated that Hitsugayguy has the most powerful Ice zanpaktou? How many times, b? It’s never been said he has the strongest Ice bankai, only the strongest Ice zanpaktou. I’d like to think that this include his shikai.
This lil nigga went through the series relying on his bankai without seeing what he could do in shikai. Which is why in this chapter he specifically said that he can’t control what he’s trying to do all that well. He needs Rangiku because this is a new technique for him, not because she’s essential to it. As much as I dislike the lil nigga, he was canonically meant to replace Captain Commando.
I’ve missed Hitsugaya’s Shikai since the SS Arc, so I’m glad to see it return. Using the chain on his blade to encase Gin’s arm in ice was one of the dirtiest tricks I’ve seen in the manga and was cool as shit to boot.
Chapter was fairly boring otherwise. I’m getting kind of sick of these one-sided beatdowns, a facade or not. Cue next week the tables turning with Hitsugaya getting his ass beat for a little bit, only to eventually pull out a difficult victory. This is the final arc and I don’t want to see that shit anymore. SS has been training hard, Vandenreich is a serious threat, these fights should be a struggle from both sides from the start and intense all the way through.
( And damn Kubo for playing on shotacon fetishes. Matsumoto and Hitsugaya need to just bang already. )
