Now, if Zangetsu is only “pretending” to be his zanpakuto, but is indeed part of his power, this means that Ichigo’s new zanpakuto would be more powerful now that it will be all of his powers combined.
I actually want to know more about what this means, because even with was been said on the last page, due the cliffhanger nature of it the info that we have been provided is incomplete 
Is clear that Zangetsu is still part of the whole different facets of Ichigo’s power, he even has a bankai form, and a merged form.

The more I think about it…Ichigo’s dad was still holding out a bit. Ichigo’s final ‘form’ looks damn close to a young Juha Bach, and thinking about how it worked, it reminds me of the recently mentioned Mauyri and Ishida fight, where he used up his ‘ability’ for a final attack. So it seems TO ME - that his dad knew he was actually using more qunicy powers than anything else. So in essence, Ichigo’s been inherently using ALL his various abilities at ‘once’, his shikai/bankai combo have been nothing more than melee versions/abilities of quincy stuff, wrapped around his ‘hollowness’ that had fused with his ‘shinigami’ powers. And at will, Juha Bach could remove his qunicy powers - as it was said over hte past few chapters - Bach had a little of himself in all the quincies.
So I guess the whole “Ichigo isn’t using me (Zangetsu) right” holds WAY more weight now.
Kubo…still good at tying ends together and tripping over his shoe laces in between.

So Ichigo’s “hollow” was telling the truth…kudos to kubo for that one.

Well snap. I thought the two looked similar but assumed it was just a coincidence, not that one of the series biggest villains has been standing in the heroes corner from ( near) the series beginning.

I don’t think that Zangetsu is Juha perse, but the manifestation of Juha’s power that resides on every quincy, which explains his appearance, but not his alignment imo.

Kubo proved you wrong today.
In fact, Kubo > Oda with today’s chapter. His foreshadowing along with his art and characterization is on another level.
What Byakuya said, what Shirosaki said and all those hints and touches from years past, it all makes sense now.
And we still have moments like today coming with Kisuke, Mayuri, Ukitake, Ryuuken, Aizen and the Soul King still unsolved.
The…fuck? Half the chapter made no sense and was beyond weird.
I’m pretty sure everyone knew that “Zangetsu” had a connection to Juha Bach but, I would never have guessed that it was actually him.
One interesting thing that came up about Aizen with today’s chapter…
Nimaiya explained that the hollows are prime material for making asauchis which is some FOUO that Aizen knows.
Combine that with the fact that the Royal Guard members said that all 5 of them combined are stronger than all the Gotei 13 members and Aizen’s high reiatsu powers and skills makes me think that he is a former citizen of a royal city or a former royal guard himself.
He has seen the Soul King which not even Shunsui and Byakuya being nobles and captains have had the priviledge to do so.
Nimaiya could have perfected the formula created by Aizen for making strong weaponry (thus making him fit for being a RG member) into his blacksmith skills.
And why is Aizen in SS instead of the Royal Kingdom? Easy, research. And he could pass as low key as he wants as the first thing he would do (which probably he did) was KS Yamamoto and everybody important, thus leaving him alone and free to do whatever experimenting he wanted in SS and Hueco Mundo.
Nimaiya (or Kubo) should do an Aizen’s origins very soon but I think it would go something like this.
