Sucks about no chapter last week tho. Really want to see what happens with Kenpachi but knowing Kubo the story might switch to Ichigo and Renji again.

What the fuck was her bankai in the 1st place? I’m missing something…
Also,
Her Bankai just looked like a massive ass heal or revive. Basically the same thing she’s been using on Kenpachi to revive his ass everytime she killed him.
Or so it seems. Kubo really half assed on what happened there. Outside of the description that her sword was for healing, that’s about all I got.

Um, I think her Bankai is super acid. She learned the healing technique so she doesn’t die from her own Bankai. It’s a kamakazi/final attack, but pretty much broken because she found a way to do it over and over - by healing herself. It doesn’t seem that amazing though, because she’s healing Zaraki to level him up.
It makes sense, but a little too similar to Barragan’s corrosive abilities. Yeah, his is due to time, but it causes the same effect.
Well that was a disappointment after a 2 week break.
I’m with FOBio on this one. Especially when you consider her shikai is a stingray - it makes sense ot be a poison based bankai…but I’m stil super confused…did she pretty much corrode everything then insta-heal everything? And Kenpachi doesn’t at least ‘seem’ to be any stronger…he’s still just swinging his sword…with one hand…in normal mode (I still don’t buy that its his shikai).

lame chapter. super lame direction to take the fight, extremely lame pacing for the fight. Also with 0 talking going on its hard to tell what’s happening. here is to hoping that she can heal herself otherwise this is possibly the biggest cock-tease of the entire series, btw everyone we had this crazy trump card and will never deploy her against an enemy.
So we have acid healing stuff and skeleton ken…where is my powerup? Bet he learns to heal with sword slashes next chapter.

This chick does her bankai and that led to death. Jees I could have wrote this shit so much better. IMHO Kenpachi would still get folded up off-panel buy Juha right hand man.
Oh well Kenpachi is a beast so guess he couldnt be killed like that, but the gotei 13 right now is in no shape for any type of battle whats-so-ever.

I GOT IT!!! IT’S THE PERFECT SOLUTION! we have our 2 strongest fighters fight to the death now to power one of the 2 of them up and leave the other one who has yet to enter the battlefield for us as a corpse. Glad we ironed that strategy out
