I called Acme Bowl today, they said it might be there tomorrow so… take that for what it’s worth? I’ll be there the day that it is, but I might not spend that much money the first day. I’ll probably just mess around with Arakune and see how it plays.
There will be lots of good players there on… well, either Friday night or Saturday. The Guilty Gear club from DigiPen is rolling out.
I guess… You should watch some of the newer tiger stuff, he looks hella good. Plus unlike most characters he has a projectile and like Magnet powers. Also he has crazy reverse kara-throw (you force the opponent into your grab range). Not to mention the fact that you can hold his command grabs and they are invincibile while doing so. He’s pretty buff.
Oh plus comboing into them doesn’t guarantee a tech (cept maybe the super since like if you see the super flash you can just mash and get out) But you have the normal tech window on the regular command grab, so you can probably still get people with them, I’ve seen people do that with Bang’s command grab,.
UPDATE:
We have to get the required I/O board from Japan. This is a killer, and I would guess early next week now for Blazblue to Acme. I will post here the day it goes out so you will have a heads up.

Update: The I/O board has been sourced, and is shipping to us now. The hope is that the game will make it to Acme by this Friday.
God damn I’m excited for this. If it came out before Friday it’d probably rape my exam scores -__-
A bit off topic, but I have PS2->Wii stick converters and Tatsunoko coming if anyone wants some games in U-District.

Okay, I have never played a guilty gear game for more than five minutes, is there any noob-friendly resources for how to play this game?

I just got back from Acme bowl. GGS everyone, that place kicks ass.
It actually feels suprisingly different from guilty gear, it feels waaayyy less floaty to me. The wakeup game kind reminds me of Tekken, and each character is really cook and unique.
Jin’s normals are SLLOOWWWWW too, he plays nothing like ky.
Also, Arakune is a bitch.
This game feels great. I can’t believe how unique all of the characters play. ArcSystems really does some amazing stuff.
