Tager + Easy Input = Epic win? Guaranteed standing 360’s, oh my.
Nooo…Ragna is too far down. its just a tier list though…and it applies to competitive level play I can only watch and jerk off to. Still, I wish he could just chuck his sword at that horrible little robot kid.
Actually, V-13 is very easy to pick up and win with on a newbie level. Most people don’t know how to deal with the sword spam yet, and you can pretty much win just by mashing D. So, in a way, V-13 is like the Sagat of Blazblue. Again, I am only talking about people on the newbie level, people who barely had the game for a couple of days, so don’t get me wrong.
Great vid and thanks for all of the replies everybody.
People are exaggerating, the tier list is not as defined as MvC 2 or any game like that since:
This tier list doesn’t mean tager is a shit chacter it just means he’s not as “good” as everyone else. Besides the metagame will develop and might change things.
Indeed. >:)
That was when Carl was even shittier than Tager. Clap loop itself put it to a gigantic Carl favor. DIO has it 8-2 Carl I believe.
lols at myself for making fun of Tager, my secondary
No more sf4 talk.
This.
honestly i think haku-men should be upper tier! maybe b maybe a
If you’re going to make a statement like that, please explain why.
I think that the tiers are fine the way they are now.
The game is new to most people, so people really haven’t learned their options against characters that seem high tier at first, but are only like that because of inexperience.
Tager definitely has his options and ability to inflict some grusome combos, but if you can zone well and not get magnetized, it’s not that bad of a matchup. Also watching out for that ball of magnetivity isn’t too hard to avoid, it just requires an eye on the meter to see when it’s charged up. So far, the only reason I’ve lost to Tager’s were because of three reasons: I’ve only recently discovered that meter. Also didn’t know about certain overheads he had. And finally, need to stop punishing with Noel’s C attacks when he Sledge Hammers, which he has invulnerability to. Now, the game for me has become “How am I gonna fish that hammer out and then punish?” which has become the method of beating Tagers.
The top 3 are well deserved because they simply are the best zoners of the game so far.
The problem with Tager is that it always feels like an uphill battle. At no point have I ever felt I was in control of a match against a decent player. (Scrubs = lol with tagar. A v13 told me Tagar was top tier. I rofled and got kicked out of the lobby) It was a lot of chasing and blocking and waiting for that moment where I could unleash. And even then, they have burst so you might have to work on the combo again.
To be honest, what would make tager better? 720 being untechable but do less damage. I can’t forsee myself hitting this against high level play a lot. And 360B being untechable seeing as its a fucking staple move.
I’ll preface by saying I haven’t played the game, but a simple thing I’d suggest that might help him a bit is that he doesn’t suffer pushback when he air blocks projectiles.
some invincibilety through some of his moves would do wonders.
This, actually. Also, having an anti air that doesn’t suck. But for the most part Cuz, you shouldn’t be blocking projectiles in the air anyways. Sledge through that shit.
Haha like I said, I don’t have the game so I know poop about any of his moves properties. All I know is I felt bad every time I’d see a Tager inch slowly towards Nu only to get pushed back because of the projectile spam.
Sledge B Rapes those projecticles. It’s a bad matchup for tager of V13 can keep him away. If not, V13 gets raped if the Tager is smart. I’m only half smart though Seriously though, you get V13 to burst, one combo = good game.
I know Im getting off topic but whats with people being relived to find out their character ranking to be high? I admit i always jump for low tiers for personal reason but Im kind of astounded and disappointed how a lot of player wish their character is rank higher.
Maybe I have the wrong mentality but im usually dissapointed to find my character rank high because i feel most of my wins where me relying on the character than my abilities as player.
Either way yay for Hakumen placement.
Oh and I hate Arakune and V-13, these character just feel brock or overpower.
V-13 Bitch with insane mixup ability with little cost.
Arakune a development flaw character with just too safe and damaging moves, also scrub friendly.
