After the top 5, I think Tao would be a problem. She has the ability to dish up to 5+ K without meter. She’ll be fine if they lower her damage out put by 10-15% after the top 5 get a nerf.
I find tager v arakune to be worse, since he can just fly all over the place and its hard for his move to hit him.
and if you get cursed, you’re basically done for.
Yeah, Tager vs. Nu isn’t nearly as bad as trying take on Arakune, you have to avoid making mistakes to get caught in Nu’s every match bullshit but Arakune can be such a bastard to even get your hands on. Staying on the defensive for most of the match isn’t even an option and you mainly have to get him magnetized to have a chance.
What is a better way to help Bang out? Should you let him start with more nails, or should you give him a move to replenish nails? (I can’t imagine projectile characters, which he has the hardest time against, would give him a chance to use that, though)
I don’t know much about Bang’s playstyle other than watching Dora beast with him on Youtube. But he looks so crazy, I don’t know why he has the hard matches people claim he has.
Once they nerf the top tier, he’ll move up. If he needed anything, they should just give him a super to refill his nails.
I really dont think we should not be talking about nerfing and adding stuff. I mean its only been a few weeks on consoles. Once more people figure out the game I am sure the tier list will change pretty well. To me right now the only one that even needs nerfing is V-13.
Been out for months in the arcades…
Yeah I know that, but you cant really fully expriment with the characters at the arcades atleast I cant. With console there is no rush to sit down and learn in training mode and stuff.
It’s amazing how much Japan can evolve a game totally in the arcade. I don’t think they need console to bring characters to their full potential. They were able to discover everything in SFA3 totally via the arcade. By the time Accent Core dropped on console, the game was pretty much already figured out in a year, totally in arcades. I know we don’t live in Japan, but as it stands they play the highest level BlazBlue at this point.
That is a good point, I honestly dident think about that.
Well anyway I would to know the reasons why anyone would want to nerf anyone other then V-13. I also dont really anyone should be buffed, the matchups are hard but not impossible.
Arakune? He has plenty of matchups where landing a curse just once practically guarantees a round.
The funny part? Some people think that’s ok.
Well all V-13 needs is the momentum of the match by spamming the swords on the other side of the screen.
Hell even tager just needs to use that super and it might as well call the match.
Sure, Tager can get a lot of damage off a 720 if he lands it. Arakune is much more likely to land a curse, get 60% of your life, recurse, and never get touched again.
Well what about v-13, you know thats worse.
You are right though, I just dont see those odds happening that well if the ara player is playing someone really good.
Yeah arakune seems solid enough without curses. =/
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again.
Really the only thing I’d like to see happen to Squiggly (despite my anger at the Tao Squiggly matchup) is that, if I block a curse, I don’t get cursed. It makes sense, and it would solve so many issues in the long run.
I really don’t know what should be done about v-13 or arakune. I’m sure ASW will do a better job than whatever terrible ideas I would come up with.
Some of my terrible ideas include: for Arakune, I would say cursing on block needs to go, as does his back airdash teleporting him to the other side of the screen. He really doesn’t need another escape/avoidance tool. D bug might do a bit too much damage as well… v-13 does too much damage. I don’t really care that she has low HP, she still does too much damage. She has so much control and risk/reward is always skewed in her favor.
Are you serious!!! My mains are bang and tager, talk about bad luck, so i graduate from cammy to bang and tager? Well this just stinks lol.
V-13 isn’t broken, she’s just easy. There’s a difference. If an offensive character can get in on her, she loses tons of life in one combo. It’s frustrating, but no different than playing Chun in 3S or something similar.
Let the meta game evolve over the next few months to see tournament results. You can’t call for a ban/nerf when there is so little data to support that a character is broken.
