Stop talking cryptic and tell us what you all are talking about.
Jiyuna’s previous account was banned for showign a quick nipple shot of Hitomi Tanaka. Since then he was streaming on his friends account and someone snitched him out to Twitch Cops and he got banned.
Time to break out the white Tall Tees with Free Jiyuna on the Front and Stop Snitchhin on the back.
Of who? Is that some chick from some anime, or “adult-anime” or something like that?
She’s what we call in the industry a “3D Girl”! You may recognize the name if you frequently watch two best friends.
Google Hitomi J-Cup.
It’s funny how the discussion has escalated from BlazBlue to someone getting banned for streaming a screenshot of a Japanese AV star.
On topic, Terumi is a bitch. A new Extend-Ragna is born.
Pfff. Jin is already the Extend Ragna.
Terumi doesn’t seem so bad by comparison since he doesn’t really seem to have the kind of neutral tools Jin does.
That said, balance in this game is fuxxored. I shall await the inevitable patch.
For those of you that play blazblue but somhow don’t know (seriously don’t know how that’s possible) Jiyuna is an american EC blazblue player that was pretty much at the top. He moved to japan and keeps people updated on the japanese scene. Before bbcp came out he was pretty much the main source of info on the game on his twitter acc. He streamed games online with japanese players like Tsuji and that Melty player who’s name escapes me.
Yeah, I’m familiar with Jiyuna (though I admittedly have always thought the idea of moving to another country, let alone another continent for a game to be a bit much), but like I said, I wasn’t aware that his Twitch channel got shut down because I don’t follow it.
I hope that they buff Kokonoe. It would be comedy gold. The amount of salt that it would produce would be enough to sustain McDonald’s french fry needs for 50 years.
It’d be like if they made Dark Phoenix the default Phoenix in UMVC3, and tripled her health.
That’s a bit too far on the comparisons…
Well, it depends on HOW MUCH of a buff we’d be talkin’ about here, of course, lol.
The best part is that people like @Yannick would be crying on twitter and sending angry letters to ArcSysWorks. It’d go from Kokonoe hate week to Kokonoe comedy week.
I mean, I don’t even play Kokonoe but that would be absolutely hilarious.
I’m not sure exactly what you’re implying. I’ve been a very vocal proponent of Kokonoe and a calm response to her release for a while.

As usual, I don’t really have any hate for any individual characters, per se, but it annoys me to no end how they release DLC characters that are clearly balanced to a different standard than other members of the cast, who actually had things removed for fear they might actually be good.
I think I want to take up Arakune.
Any advice you guys can give me?
Be prepared to play very defensively until you drop Curse on them. You can play Arakune any way you want, but it’s more and more difficult as the series goes on to play him aggressively without Curse. Probably one of the more prominent examples of why learning neutral should happen before learning combos. I would learn like maybe one or two small (and extremely practical) combos that build Curse meter (just to maximize what you do get when you land a hit) and spend the rest of your time really grinding out his movement and his neutral game. Not allowed to make mistakes with this character, haha…people are not willing to let you get into Curse mode if they have anything to say about it.
Damn. I just get destroyed online… It seems hard to go against anyone in the cast without curse.
Also why am I so fucking helpless against Relius? I feel like I have no options to get pressure off me in general.
It’s VERY hard without Curse. You have to be suuuuuuuper defensive and kind of counter-poke your way around the match until you get a clear shot. Arakune has tools to use at all different lengths of the screen, so don’t feel like you have to be right in someone’s face or at fullscreen to do anything.
Relius is kinda like easymode pressure, but he has a few…maybe not weaknesses, but holes in his game. He is very vulnerable to instant blocking, but I don’t know what Arakune can do out of IBs. Even if you can’t do anything, you can IB all day and just gain fat amounts of meter. Is Spider Laser a reversal? If so, you can IB and then pop out of blockstrings with that. Don’t forget you have counter assault as well–just remember to CA when Relius is going for a move with long startup…don’t CA Ignis. You’ll waste that meter and probably lose the round.
Seems like Arakune does best getting pressure off of him simply by making the opponent respect your space with curse building fodder.
People respect the cloud.
