BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma EXTEND announced!

I initially thought so too but then I asked myself how could I do it any better. This episode was clearly supposed to be this “episode 0” -type of thing, which did pretty well I think concerning this is a fighting game anime we’re talking about.[details=Spoiler]Only thing that bothered me that they straight away showed Hazama in the boundary. “So he must be the bad guy huh?”[/details]

Only thing I thought was strange that (given Calamity Trigger’s story extent), they’ve actually shoved like 70% of Ragna’s story into the first episode. If the series keeps up the same pace (and I know it won’t), they could end it in under 5 episodes total.

Other than a few strangely fast cuts and short music ques, I REALLY liked what I saw and heard, the animation was better-than-average-shounen-anime-quality and the anime-style character themes all sounded great, especially Bullet Dance and Under H.D

BTW we’re REALLY getting off-topic here, are we allowed to make a thread about the anime based on the game or is it Dustloop’s business?

Just finished watching the first episode of Alter Memory…I’ll have to play Story Mode sometime in the future before Chrono Phantasma comes to the US. Hopefully by then I’ll have enough spare change in my tiny pockets for a PS3 on the cheap.

I just finished watching the first episode of BlazBlue Alter Memory and I liked it.

The animation was hella mediocre

Which means that, for an anime based on a game, it’s above average. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Still haven’t watched it yet, but I really want to.

Is this going to be an ongoing series or just a small amount of episodes like Pokemon Origins was?

Of course, there’s also people who swear by those Persona 4 and dot Hack animes. Actually…thinking on it, the first one wasn’t half bad for what it was.

But yeah, the first episode of Alter Memory was a lot better than I was worried it would be. Taokaka is amazingly hilarious.

It’s 12 episodes long, the last episode airs in the second half of December.

xb1?!?!

please… :frowning:

Currently…no.

I’d rather not see the XB1 get any support from anyone, really. Because the more support it has, the higher than chances that it might get something I actually want, and that would be bad.

Exactly. With all the shadiness and BS with the XB1, what that console needs is for everybody to ignore it, and pay no attention to everything and anything on it. It’s bad enough people are fawning over KI3 (a game I was ecstatic for when it was announced it was being made before well…the rest of the information on it was revealed), when the game is an XB1 exclusive and looks to be total ass considering people were getting 80-something hit combos on their first attempts at the Beta.

I will however say that I wouldn’t be opposed to the 360 getting a port of BBCP, because the people already on that deserve to get a copy too. Though, it is kinda funny the 360 has +R for Guilty Gear, and there’s no sign of it being on NA PS3 yet, considering.

Just pointing out the obvious: Azrael’s 5B has to be one the best normals in the game. Its’ hitbox is so wide it’s unreal, it’s a 5x normal and an anti-air in itself: youtu.be/TEQg9F-oWAA?t=1m22s

It has some grab-like properties, unlike normal grabs it can be blocked and if it lands it can’t be escaped. Then again, if it lands you can’t burst.

I don’t care which console this game is released on I just want as many people to play it as possible.

Sheeeeiiiittttt!

10 Days left until BlazBlue Chronophantasma is released! The HYPE is coming! XD

(BTW: It’s Oct 14 in Japan and yes I live in Japan)

Now to hope and pray one of my friends buys digital so I can bum it off em.

I’ll add you in PSN when my copy ships, I guess it’s maybe 1-2 weeks after release.

In the meantime…

… is that real?

The worst part for me I think when BBCP releases on the 24th, is knowing I’ll have to wait like…10 days or so for it to get shipped up here to Canada.
