I guess I didn’t mention that they actually played CT and CS, but stopped at CSII because they decided the game was dead. They know the game’s mechanics well enough that the slight system changes in Extend only took each of them a few minutes to lock down. There is a Hazama, a Mu, a Tsubaki, two Ragnas, three or four Hakumens, and my Lambda. They just don’t want to play it unless they see it’s name up in lights at EVO. (They also do think Lambda is, like, SS tier, so maybe I should play more Tsubaki against them, Celerity, or at least pick up Relius and Jin…)
BTW, I’m in Boise, ID now. Where are you guys located? I’ve noticed a few New York-area players here. Anyone in the Northwest?
I would just like to see a few more people play from time to time, no “get big” dreams here.
I was hoping to get in contact with a few of you that have helped spread the BB-joy in their local Cap-communities, that is all.
I think Kousaka (the Arakune player?) is from TO too. And yes, Roldy’s hair is awesome. Hella nice guy, too.
And no worries about skill level and all that. I’ve been with the series since CT, and I can admit that I’m not exactly the best player in the world and am just average. I think with most people it’s as long as you enjoy playing BB with people, nobody is really going to give you a hard time over it if you want to learn.
My, my. All these Canadians. Who is everyone on Dustloop anyways? I’ve seen Airk, I think that I’ve seen Live and Celebrity; don’t think that I’ve ever seen iminthenet, Lythium, rayplay, tibbs, or GespenstRitter though. I only really post in the Valkenhayn boards myself.

More than anything else, I lack match-up knowledge. I’ll get better though. I’d like to at least pose some sort of challenge.
Yeah, I’m the same here as there, with a Noel avatar. I normally stick to the match finder, Noel, and Story stuff, as well as occasionally posting in the BB online section.
Airk’s gonna hate me for this, but I’ve been fooling about with Noel in preparation for CP and she is a LOT of fun. Her moves and combos flow together so pleasantly. I’m planning to pick her up seriously when CP’s released, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to get the basics down now. I’ve been practicing that stuff you sent to me months ago, Livewire, as well as running the hell out of her challenges.
Also pretty excited for Terumi. I always wanted to use Hazama cuz he’s such a bad ass, but we just never clicked. Feel like Terumi is Arc giving me a second chance.

I actually forgot about that stuff, embarrassingly enough. However that being said, I’m glad you’re enjoying using her, and I hope those things helped, even a little bit.
I would go pick up a ps3 so I could use a fightstick instead of this god awful pad but I just haven’t bothered with it yet due to personal complications.
Regardless, I intend to make the most out of this until CP hits. I will become the greatest Vita netplay Valkenhayn player to have ever w[5B]'d the face of this earth. That is my goal.
Who knows what sort of enticing challenges will block my perilous path. Ragna’s 5B, Noel’s drive, Hakumen’s hotaru, Arakune’s curse, Platinum’s heart car, Hazama’s chains, Litchi’s pole, Relius’s j.B, Mu’s steins, Jin’s DP’s, etc, etc.
And this is only the beginning. The beginning…of the end.
