As you jump hold up/back…keep it held. The instant you land hit medium punch. The up/back is canceling your landing animation, and allowing the regular medium punch to come out rather than the headbutt. Then it’s a two frame link from the standing medium punch to the ultra.

In your elf matches, every focus crumple you hit you went for that odd mix up, I’ve seen the mullah do stuff like that in older vids but i never really seen the point in it. I’m not knocking you or anything you have a great blanka, but I’m just wondering if there’s any real purpose to it other than it looking flashy.

I played that rufus 3 times in the tourney and he smoked me all 3 times, by the last one (the first video) i honestly didn’t know what to do anymore. I’m also having a terrible time with bison
Force of habit, I guess. It works well on charge characters, though. Sometimes it helps me test people who mash jab (balrog) or do srk’s on wakeup. It’ll score me an extra hit now and then. I guess it’s just the flash, haha.
Only saw the first video you posted, but I usually try to get the lead and run. Standing RH works very well against his divekicks. If it ever trades, it’s always in your favor.
If you see him try to c. fp your blocked ball and it whiffs or you think it will whiff, you can try reacting to it with a slide.
Try not to get cornered and just run whenever possible. Something I found that was pretty useful was using jump back mp when he doesn’t have meter or sparingly at most. You may eat a j. RH + ultra or EX SS.
Also, be wary of using crouch teching. Those stupid divekicks punish you for doing that.
P.S. I also dislike bison. Same strat I guess. Just hit and run, haha. I notice I play a lot better when I do that lately.
Once you start running away, people get really frusted if you stuff a couple of there get in options.
Sure dive kick is always going to happen even if you stuff it with round house, but hes knocked down and your just hit. Just watch for EX messiah when you walk up. cause if you jump. your likely going to eat snake strike
