I’ve seen T SRAI use it vs Viper and Guy (j.mk and j.hp) in SSFIV but I didn’t know it was unblockable. Maybe it was just one of those things that Blanka players used because it looked ambiguous but didn’t realize it was actually unblockable.
I had the setup awhile before I posted the thread at least.
And yeah I’ve been using the j.mk on Guile and Rog since arcade vanilla, but I had no idea it was unblockable.
I have other unblockables, i just don’t use them because they aren’t as good as these.
Also who knows maybe this kills mk unblockables and makes lp unblockables work on 20 characters.

Maybe this is a moot point now, but are there any practical unblockable setups that guarantee that you won’t crossup off a jump-in (thus keeping your charge) regardless of what the opponent does? I’m basically wondering if there are any guaranteed ultra1 setups. That would be the truth.
To be 100% honest i’ve kept a few things that i know from this forum. I do believe we should try to be selective with the information we give out. We are all trying to win and just putting out all our tricks here allows other players to learn this matchup more effectively. At this point a lot of the tech is already written down but i do think if we find something really good we should probably just try to keep it on the DL and message each other. I know scumbag messages me about some stuff as apposed to posting here.
I think we are all super thankful of all your work Ves i would say 99% super happy and 1% sad that other people can just read your work.
I like to think that sharing info helps us all take our game to a higher level, and ultimately, regardless of how much our opponents or capcom know about or tech we enjoy the game more because our standard of play is higher.
If the vanilla blanka players like viscant and moval didn’t share their knowledge with the forum then people like ves and ilitirit may not have progressed far enough with blanka to start unearthing the juicy tech we now have. Who knows who will take this info about blanka and unearth something else?
I understand if people enter tournaments then they have an agenda behind not revealing new tech, but that’s not to say I would or have done the same
I have been abusing Blankas teleport for a good few months, fucked If I’m telling you lot though.

Hold left, close eyes… Then open them. Helps if opponant does it too. Not sure if it works going right… Need more time testing in lab. If anyone wants to help, fire away. Make a google doc, check character dependancy etc.
I’m pretty sure Blanka’s teleport is Xbox Live specific.

you didn’t mention the other factors of this teleport… it actually works going left or right but you can’t pass through your opponent’s body… and if you’re going left on 1P side you kinda need to make sure your opponent isn’t attacking or else it doesn’t work…

Works great as a taunt too, although a lot of people don’t seem to react to it? Probably too shocked to see it when it happens… I presume.
That said, I did it on a Yun last night… at the start of the first round, he went nuts. Dive kicking everywhere. Hahaha.
In training mode sometimes Blanka teleports further than normal. Mid screen works best… for left and right teleports, as opposed to in the corner where it seems to not come out for some reason? Must be a complicated retracted hurtbox interaction with the stage area? More testing required. Kara-teleport is possible too, if you sneeze.
Yeah, I’ve noticed that it doesn’t work with attacking opponants… strange… must be a glitch. Works in training mode 100%. I’ll email Ono about it.
In the meantime, yeah, we better shut up about it. I would hate to see Taku et al using it.
