Holy hell I’m having a tough time getting Trial 4 to go over. Any suggestions? Should I have the Ultra inputs done BEFORE the end of the c.mk animation or is there some tricky timing where I need to wait until after the kick finishes to input the final :3p:?
I keep trying to do it as FAST as I can and I keep throwing punches and shit. There are a few occasions when I have the first two parts done, they’re lit up in the list as completed, and I’m starting the ULTRA animation to have Dan Block it anyways and not give me credit.
There is your problem. It is just like any other link, you want timing not speed.
Do it in the corner, and make sure you hit the j.HK deep.
I generally go to down forward cause it is easier for me to stay on the bottom of the gate.
would be, charge :db:, :hp:, :df:, :db:, :df:+:hp:
And you have to do it pretty quickly, you can actually probably get it just by doing the db.HP then mashing the shit out of the stick/pad and hitting HP to be honest.
Was on a friend’s Xbox, and decided to do blanka’s trials out of boredom. I think the only one I whiffed more than once was Hard 4. My execution randomly leveled up.
I can’t charge the ultra on hard trial 4. Tried to get the j.mk as deep as I could, but still didn’t work. Even tried to charge db with the analog stick and jump foward with the directionals.
I go from uf instantly to db on the jump. Hit the MK as deep as you can, and then wait just a bit on the cr.MK. you can get extra charge frames by waiting as they are still in hit stun so the cr.MK will still combo.
If you can hit cr.MK -> ultra on the ground you should be able to do it.
Ahhhhhh…Finally, completed Hard Trial Level 5!!! After 5 hours of exhausting tries, finally Completed!! FInally got the Cube!! eck, my head hurts… I should go to sleep. It’s 5:53am…YAy:looney:
Anymore tips for Hard Trial 5? I just cannot get the c.mk to connect. Is there a difference in jumping in at an angle or just straight up? Any tips would be great, I want that cube! Haha
jumping forward is preferred because you are able to hit the HK a lot deeper thus keeping you closer to dan. if you go straight up you get pushed back a good amount.
I think I said basically everything I could on the previous page, but I’ll restate.
Easier in the corner, hit the HK deep, have your link timing down, and make sure you start charging at the earliest opportunity.
To be honest I found that you need them in the corner and you need to start your ultra before the wiplash frames of the other character wear off. Like when their head is amost snapping completely back. Just do it as fast as possible.
There isn’t any trick to it, and it isn’t corner specific. The link timing is very very tight though. I’m horrible at that link personally, I get it like 1/5 times.
Also did all trials again(3rd time lol) but this time on pad. I feel bad for you pad players.
