mixups aren’t gimmicks, and blanka stuffs everything akuma has pretty much. So mixups dont work on blanka, alongside a glass jaw. I main akuma myself and you can only rely on safe jumps and frame traps pretty much, everything else doesnt work. Also have to waste meter doing ex tatsu in combos because of his fucked up hitbox.
The only reasons i hate playing against him are because of his hitbox and his brainless rolls (which are being nerfed thank god). Online is too unreliable, if an upball whiffs, i go to punish it and i get grabbed… ??? other times i go to punish it, it ends up being a reset instead of a combo…lol

Stop trying to do jump in mixups against Blanka. If you stand next to Blanka on his wakeup, what can he do? I’ll give you a hint: Ex-Upball on HIT is Raging Demon punishable as well. So just pressure him for free ON THE GROUND on wakeup.

I’m SO SORRY that you have to “waste meter” doing a combo to further damage Blanka. I will say that if you think it’s such a waste of meter, nobody’s forcing you to use Ex-Tatsu in your combos. Just end the combo early and save your precious meter.

Brainless rolls? There is nothing I can say to this. This is too stupid of an argument to even counter, but I’m going to attempt to anyway. First off, you can ULTRA PUNISH blocked Blanka Balls. Second, if you can’t punish a move, why not spam the fuck out of it? Is it my fault that you’re too garbage to be able to counter my moves? Third, 95% of the characters in the game can mash jab to beat Blanka Balls. If Blanka throws the ball from anything further than close range, that’s easy DP on reaction. Fourth, think of Blanka Ball as a vulnerable fireball that is stuffed easily and when stuffed does zero damage. I can’t believe someone who mains a character that hides behind an air fireball is calling Blanka Balls brainless.
I’m sure Blanka’s mixups do REALLY WELL against Akuma’s un-safe jumpable 3 frame DP and his teleport.

most akumas i played against just run away and throw air-fireballs. you get close to them BAAM teleport away… so much for gimmicks.

I picked up Blanka, like, a week ago at most, and I’m already noticing this. It’s not just beginning players, either: I’ve never gotten kicked from Endless lobbies this often with my semi-crappy Chun, nor been (zangi)trolled or obviously counter-picked as often. And I’m not even good enough to be truly annoying…

Well at least all mullahs hatemail has a consistent theme. That’s nice of them. I’ve not been getting any hate for ages. If I play someone and win with blanka, next time I’ll pick another char to play them with. If I win again, it seems to stop them saltying. If I lose, well at least they know I didn’t just troll them and they stay quiet too. Usually leads to endless battle requests too, kinda handy if they are honestly ok at the game. I like playing lots of different styles. The variation is definitely good for practice. Oh gawd… I should just play them with blanka, all the time eh? I’mprobably a *** too? Shit, it’s so hard not to be a *** in this game

haha, yeah i played djn33raj after i told him he had “more chance of beating me with my 1 round BS whilst doing C for C with characters i dont know how to use, so just enjoy it” I beat him 5-0 best of 5 rouns, blanka for a couple then ryu , then makoto. He sent me a message afterwards “hands down gr8 player” which was nice of him, he was okay too, proabbly a 10k ryu, needs to stop jumping and doing reversal srk etc.
b3stbison sent me abuot 100 invites so after i was done with the achievement i invited him, best of 5 rounds, beat him 4-0 he didn’t win one round. He quit and sent me a message saying “wow, worst lag i’ve experienced”, it was a green, clean connection. i watched the replay and saw he was using turbo on his cr.lk also, so i called him on it and he messaged med back saying he plinked. there were no mk or lp inputs in the input display and i told him he was full of it and needed to change his gamertag to sh1t bison.
I love turbo bison because if you stay out of cr.short range they don’t know what to do.
