i just got called by player ādirty blanka noob. i hope will forever lose in everythingā. the 2nd thing was pretty funny too āi won a lot more then you against youā¦ fuā¦ing blanka noobā¦ blanka is for noobsā ā¦ final result was 7:4 for me and i lost only once with blanka. the other lost matches were with ryu, sagat and cammy.
i surely know that blanka can be a pain but he mostly destroyed himself by mashing srk (ken, ryu) or flamekick. i just blocked and punished. isnāt funny that a scrub (he really was a srub) calls me a noob? i even played one match just with normals and i still beat him.
i guess with ae blanka we still get called cheap

blanka is a cheap ho on the consoleā¦his fierce ball is too easy to do and can dominate some matchups

Blanka is so annoying. Itās a match up I hope to beat eventually. But mad respect to any blanka player.
You play footsies, try to get a knockdown, then you abuse his wakeup with safejumps/safemeaties into a tickthrow or a greenhand combo, and you OS greenhand his backdash attempts.
If you canāt reliably OS greenhand you are going to lose a lot more.
iāve played zangief players who knew the matchup very well and if i did one mistake itās game over.
The Zangief vs Blanka match up actually isnāt that bad for Gief.Blanka has the advantage,but there are some really good Giefs on PSN who are amazingly good at this match up with smart decisions during the game which give me a hard time to win.I said that a while ago that I feel this match up was easier for Blanka in SF4,but now in SSF4,it is actually no that easy anymore.
There is 1 player,his name is Agent-Mahone who is 1 of the best Giefs I have seen so far on PSN among with Aquasilk.I would really like to see someone beat his Gief as Blanka in a FT5.There are some matches on youtube from other Blanka players,but most of them have only uploaded their win and none of the losses.
Itās not easy for Zangief as Blanka has great tools for this matchup, but itās definitely winnable for a patient Gief.
Google the vanilla matches between Boy Blanka and Zangitan Gief.
I think the problem with a lot of gief players is that they arenāt willing to turtle with the life lead for whatever reason. Gief is hard for Blanka to get in on.
