Blank White Pages

So, through both Firefox and Chrome, I’m just getting blank white pages when I try to surf the forums. I thought they were down but I can still view them through Tapatalk. What’s the deal? I have a haunting suspicion but I hope it’s not true.

I’m able to open the forums in Firefox if you disable adblock just on shoryuken.com. It seems to keep the ads away from the top, too (I guess since the ads aren’t coming from shoryuken.com, but from some other domain). But it’s pretty insane that I had to come here using a different unupdated browser to figure out why I couldn’t use the site in any capacity.

As noted by geese… ANY browser with a form of Ad-blocking will not run the script for the page… Not even customizing the adblock program will work… you have to fully disable it.

Yeah I find if you’re gonna be browsing SRK you should just disable it, once you’re done enable it.
If you like to multi task YouTube and SRK then God save your soul.
First time I’ve used YouTube with ads in over a year… so annoying…

Yeah Ive tested on all browsers from Chrome to Opera… I think its a design flaw or script flaw but again not my “area” of expertise. Just hoping non of this multiple ads effect my computer.

Looks like I’ll be doing the bulk of my browsing of this forum female my phone or pad for the foreseeable future.

Chrome works fine for me, but I did notice that I get blank pages when using Firefox

Are you fucking kidding me? There’s so much garbage on the forum it makes it all but unusable in a couple of locations I use with poor internet connection. So, is this a bug or a “feature”? Can this be fixed?

There is a way to have Adblock on and still surf SRK with ads disable. Just need to delete a specific filter.

Thank god I’m not alone in this. Was trying to figure out what the fuck was going on. Thought my Firefox done got hit with another virus in progress or something. Im typing this shit thru chrome…WITH adblock still on btw.

yep with samewith FF. I hope this is a bug - I’m not gonna disable adblock everytime I wish to take a peek into the forum… don’t force me to make a choice SRK - the full internet adfree vs srk with ads…

What the flying fuck, I thought the forums were down or something before I figured I should try to disable adblock on FF and lo and behold then it works. Is this some kind of joke, or is Mr. Wiz just REALLY pissed because of all that lost ad money or something? Fuck all ya’ll who thought this would be a good idea, I just blocked everything on the site straight from the hosts file if you won’t let me use adblock, I sure as hell am NOT looking at the huge amount of garbage on this site. Fuck.
