lol. That looks like some kind of sea creature. Similar colour but I don’t remember the one I killed having such long legs and looked narrower overall. I’m still surprised I found one at that size in Canada. I guess I’m ok with centipedes now, but any spider with a legspan of 1" or larger is huge, by my standard. Just goes to show you that if you live in Canada, it’s not necessarily that there’s less to be afraid of. It just means you’re going to overreact more than everyone else when you eventually do see something that isn’t tiny.
Yeah, at my old house I found one while moving some old cinderblocks that had been left on a corner in the backyard so we could paint. It was kinda scary but I just buried that fool and moved on carefully.
Now that I think about it though, my old house was some sort of spider hellhole. We had black widows, wolf spiders, brown recluses, and hobo spiders. Luckily nobody ever got bitten, I guess having a cat worked out.
buy a cat, problem solved for the most part. They’ll hunt down and kill pretty much all insects and they don’t give up. Its encoded in their dna to fucking kill shit.
Here in FL, black widows\brown recluse are common. There was an entire apartment complex near my house that had an infestation of brown recluse spiders. Pretty much every single apartment that had a balcony had about 100 spiderwebs hanging from it.
Should of taken a picture of that shit. It looked like a scene out of a movie.

I used to live in Arizona about 15 years ago. You could find black widows pretty easily out there. Go turn over a few rocks or anything that gives them enough space to build a large web. Their webs were way different then what you see from most spiders. Not organized at all, strands just going fucking everywhere.
I caught one in a jar and kept it as a pet for a while. No joke.
When I was about 2 or 3 my father had bought me one of those Big Foot Power wheels. He wanted his friends to see me ride it and was trying to force me into it. I wouldn’t go because I told him there was a monster in it. When the checked he said it was the biggest Black Widow he had ever seen in his life. That could have been both my first and last erection ever.
Man, I remember that a Spider “killed” me in my first nightmare, and it was one of the first dreams that I had that I could remember.
I was at my counter and a spider spat something on me, and then I couldn’t move and then my eyes started drooping. For being 3-5 at the time, it was a pretty scary nightmare at the time.
lol yeah, I saw a 1" spider the other day, and a bunch of people were all looking at it, and talking about how big it was and shit. I love knowing that every bug I see around here is easily killable
and to the above post, I had a dream about 6 months ago about a tarantula climbing up my arm, then biting my hand. I woke up out of my sleep shouting, and whipping my hand around to get the ‘spider’ off. My hand honestly hurt for awhile do to psychic scarring or some shit, and I did not sleep well for a bit

I posted this image around my house to harass my arachnophobic roommate.
My aunt works for the embassy so she moves to crazy places all over the coutnry, when she lived in bolivia she sent me a present for my birthday, it was a huge spider mounted inside a box with a glass top so you could see it. Well in transit all the legs broke off in the bottom, so when I unwrapped this HUGE spider started shifting around, everyone watching jumped a mile.
