You would need to take the requests and complaints to the Capcom boards. They’re not going to give a shit about silly requests obviously. But if they were presented with some rational and logical thought, yeah.
A question if anyone can help me out.
If Gen wall dives can you j.MPx2 him out the air to ultra?
I think it’s timing and spacing dependent, but I don’t play Gen players a lot to know for sure. Test it in training, but I think you could.
well he can change direction while in air(over u(or go other side)/dead above u/close to u),and if he hit you and he have super and ultra u will eat both, try make him jump more so you can predicted and do j.mpx2 safer.
If they don’t have ultra/ super don’t give a damn, you may never need ur ultra 2…bison is kick ass vs gen.
BTW gen is very few character can stuff out and with big come back ability, super+ultra is very painful and may cause cancer.
Yeah I’ll test it. I fortunately have 2 very good Gens I play regularly so I get the practice a lot. Ty.
All of those tactics are among Bison’s safest approaches, not only that, but most of them are multifaceted so they can keep your opponent on their toes. You’re opponents are sore losers with shitty defense there is no way around that. Tick set-ups, frame traps, and cross-ups are the very fundamentals of rushdown and are by no means gimmicky. Not only that but you are winning with footsies as well, which will never be considered gimmicky by any non-scrub. Do you know combos?
I do indeed know combos, and I can do them online pretty well, although I tend to mix up what I use in my combos. Sometimes in the basic BNB of cr. lp, st. lp, cr. mk, lk scissor (or mk scissor if I have the calmness of mind to catch the hitconfirm), I mix it up by using st.lk after the second punch, or instead of cr.mk I’ll use cr.lk, because during online play the link into cr.mk gets bad, but offline, I pull it off no problem. Sometimes I’ll use the cr.lp, cr.lp, cr.lk, frame trap when I know they are crouch teching, and it tends to get people a lot.
Just sometimes though, the gimmicks and traps just aren’t enough, and I try to expand my knowledge of the game all the time, but I can’t get past 5500BP with Bison. It’s frustrating, when so many of the characters I face play turtle, and have rediculous comeback potential.
play with very good gen earlier today, with his Super+ultra full, I was at lead and he was like 1 more EX PC he can die…
well EX PC out but he caught me with j.mk into crane c.lk into super into ultra and stun me…:wasted:
some of character is underrated, GEN/Makoto/Vega/Fei long/Dee Jay…we see shoto like corner rats in sewer but those underrated character can be beast out depend on user.
How to stop t.hawk condo spire? (forward one
I know air condom dive(?!) can be bait out and punish with ultra, or I even do j.MP if I feel he is about to jump and caught him sometime.
how to safe jump j.HP? how low is gonna get? I keep getting reverse by t.hawk and someone said it can be done…
any explanation will be thankful.
Backdash the condor, it’s a trap for Typhoon a lot of the times
How could you get stunned after an Ultra? Or do you mean he hit you after the Ultra as well?
Just so you know, people calling you a scrub while actually LOSING is a sure sign of saltiness.
Winning and scrubiness are opposite in my dictionary. Those who complain about losing to allegedly scruby tactics are just proving they’re even scrubier.
my mistake,is not connected, after jmk c.lk into super and 2nd set U2 hit , and when I wake up he give me a funny low poke and I get stun…how come some of his move have such high priority? (I can’t s.MK, can’t do s.HK without getting trade)
does his 2nd ultra offer any special use? I don’t get damage but my hp bar get gray…
hmmm if I understand correctly, the funny low poke might be gen’s launcher?
well his 2nd ultra is grey damage, it’s meant to give gen offensive momentum because it forces you into a defensive position since you have a fat chunk of grey health that you don’t want to lose. maybe another strategy would be just playing it crazy and rushing down but if u eat even a little poke that health is gone. so gen has more to gain than to lose by going on the offensive and starting his crossup trickery (‘nerfed’ but still highly ambiguous). if he lands a combo on you, he gets that plus the ultra damage. it’s a unique ultra much like Rose’s orbs and shifts the momentum of the match in gen’s favor.
against gen, look in the matchup thread for some advice. I personally haven’t played many gens and even the good ones seem to get dominated by bison. you just have to be more familiar with gen’s moveset and his wakeup options because once you knock the old bastard down it’s very easy to keep him on the mat.
The grey damage Ultra 2, if you don’t have enough health, I believe it just finishes you off.
During footsies, you want to space outside of Condor Spire. If you stand just outside of s.RH range, Spire whiffs every time. Punish with c.strong -> whatever, or just s.RH that shit.
p.s., Hi laud! Where’ve you been?!
Can you dash forward then ultra 1 by charge buffering like Chun Li?
Yeah, You could do that in vanilla. It’s just a difficult thing to get right, especially online. Then again, I’ve not had that much practice with it.
Yes! I’ve been messing with Ultra 1 a lot these last two weeks. I caught like 2-3 people with it when they jumped forward lol.

Ultra input is 26f, Bison’s forward dash is 17f, so you basically have up to 9f more to complete it.
B(charge), F, F, B, F+KKK
How do you know Ultra Input’s are 26 frames? That’s interesting to know…
Also, I have had some funny luck lately using cr.mp as an anti air. It beat out two Juri dive kicks and one shoto j.hk (Ryu’s) cleanly, no trade. Can anyone think of how or why? Or if it can be exploited?
Is there a use for dash U1? I don’t think it goes through fireballs unless you’re seriously point blank range. There’s not really any leniency like the other charge char’s ultras.
