You sure Rog U2 comes out in 2 frames? I always thought it was much slower than that which is why everyone hates it so much.
Ok without a doubt when your teching doesn’t even register online, it makes it much harder to concentrate on the matches. But gimmicks win too. If you have enough gimmicks to keep it going for a while, that is good because you can mix it up better agaisnt your opponent. But if your winning then your winning. Bottom line! I’v been beaten out in tourneys by super gimmicky players, that I knew were prob not better overall, they just had gimmicks out the ass, and made me frustrated. But the bottom line is they won. And thats all that matters, who cares how they did it cause they won enough to put me out of the tourney. So who cares, a win is a win, style or no style.
Well, it’s not like I can break their down guard with an overhead or instant overhead of any kind, and getting in on some character picks is murder, and when you do see a punishment opportunity, it isn’t like I can go for some 20-35% life shaving combo, at least without charge or Ultra. I told him that when I can get a tick throw, I grab, or I can pressure with block strings and FADC a slide for a setup. I do guess I have a lot of gimmicks, but when confronted with some players who are really defensive, it’s about all I can do. I am glad that Bison’s got ground speed though, makes dashing pokes and dashing throws fun!
Seem to have a tough time against DeeJay lately, where all the guy wants to do is crossup and repeat, and he has that really deceptive jump arc to be very ambiguous, and he’s got the charge built up for if I teleport or backdash away, so I’m left playing a blocking guessing game. Anyone know a remedy to that? Or am I failing to see some counter opportunity? Generally, when I lose I try to think where I lost, and what I could have done, and most of the time it comes down to did I have meter at the time or not, cause without meter my options are limited.
Yeah it comes out in 2 frames. The thing is, you have the entire ultra animation to react to the second frame. So as long as you’re not -2, or you’re out of range, just hold up and you’re fine.
It also does really bad damage. Basically you have to guess correctly twice in a row to seriously use it (to capitalize off the stun), which limits its usefulness.
Is there a trick to knowing when you linked the cr.3p and didn’t chain since it looks the damn same.
yeah don’t mash that shit tap it, and it should link instead of chain.

honestly I think that is your only option… and if you do it too early you will miss and possible get tagged out of the air.
Maybe if you see them do it before just use preemptive roundhouse.
Haven’t tried it, but what about backwards teleport into something like roundhouse?

They didn’t listen to a damn thing we said on the other request forum, which ended at an amazing 236 pages. At this point man, I’m not sure we’ll be able to convince anyone at all for new changes. I’m not saying it isn’t worth the try, but if 236 pages didn’t convince them last time, I don’t how much they’ll listen now.
I think Bison needs a dragon punch, a command grab, a projectile, and a cape.

i wish capcom would let us know if they are even listening… I feels like they just maybe skim the pages we all posted but still left it up to all the testers to make the game what it is… And NO DOUBT, I hope they don’t start listening to the scrubs and updating the game all the time like GOW… And I have been someone who has kept to the statement I like Bison alot as is… But I will say this, cause its been happening to me alot. And that is some tracking on the HS, at least against opponents who are airborn. I hate when I know someone is gonna jump out like vega,guy,a shoto, and do HS and they wall jump or tatsu and I completely miss. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR why is that? at least make the HS so that shit will climb to the top of the screen if needed. I’m wasting breathe now and realizing that this isnt the update thread soooo…yeah
While I agree and would love to know if capcom has even listened to us, there are actually very good and well informed people on the Bison forums with good ideas. I know there are some more requests that are a little OP, but I’ve heard some good ones. I know I would love to see Head Stomp put the opponent into a block state from farther away, which would kinda help some of its problems, and maybe one more Ultra setup that was reliable. I like Hell attack into Ultra, but forcing your opponent into a Hell Attack opportunity is never easy and sometimes just not possible. Something, anything at this point.
And they needed to fix Gears of War all the time because Epic screwed up bad and put it out without testing very well. It still takes 10 minutes to get a match going, you hardly gain any EXP after a certain point, and reaching level 100 is next to impossible, unless you make it your #1 game. Personally, If I’m gonna put THAT MUCH TIME into a game, I’d rather put it into Street Fighter, where I feel like I’m at least learning in the long run, and always getting better. They know what mistakes they made off the first two games, if GOW 3 comes out and they haven’t fixed that crap, I don’t see a reason to buy it.
Sorry, off topic but I believe capcom does a hell of a better job than epic games.
