As far as freestyling goes I try to never do exactly the same thing, and play as off beat as possible based on what I see my opponent doing. By that I mean always asking myself what my opponent is my opponent trying to accomplish and countering it. I started typing what some examples up but I realized it woud turn into a fucking page, so I’m not even gonna start… lmao thats what I have a cap card for, to show rather than type.
Hey guys I got some more vids of me vs Fr33Kill88 a.k.a Exceed^ around here. The score between the mirrors is 5-2 him. I’m getting more confindent in this matchup for sure though…
The two I won…

Ok now that I’m not annoyed I keep deleting what I typed, I have some things I would like to say about this matchup. First being that PP on someones wakeup(bison player) doesn’t work, and the only reason I thought I worked was because the first person that did it to me was online. By that I mean I tried to tele out a couple of times and got hit so I just started trying to block, but now I know tele beats it clean always on wakeup.
Second thing, since both of you have such good ground game and such a lack of AA that it is kind of a battle for the air, because as long as the player isn’t too predicable with their jumpin fierce the guy basically just has to block. And when things get reset outside of s.hk range this is were the battle seems to take place. If the player becomes predictable at all however and you have meter EX HS all the way!! also neutral jump hp and mk work very well at the range discussed against bison because if they try to SK in you will not get hit or land on them, and if they try to jump at you it will get stuffed. Another good tactic if you are on point is dashing under bison and tagging him with s.hk on his belly when he jumps in at that range, then when he resets you can continue some nice mixup or dashin for a grab.
Third but by no means least important, If you HS bison and go in for the followup make sure you always cross him up before you land on his head again if he has ultra1 or meter. That will take away the threat of them landing it U1 or EX PC when you try to SD. I’m pretty sure that s.hk/c.hp beats SD clean too, but you can also make them kick the wrong way if you cross them up in the air before you land back on their head.
Once I get ahold of the entire matchup I’ll post an in depth post in the matchup thread, these are just some but not all of the things I’v pulled together so far.
I personally have a hate/love relationship to the mirror match. I feel like you can get really random’d out and reading the opponent can be a real toss up because you each have the exact same options. Sometimes I read the opponent wrong because my wires get crossed and I end up trying to counter what I would have done in that situation. stuff like that bugs me. it also seems like the cr.short xx scissors exchange is just weird because you have the exact same options after a blocked scissors, whether it’s yours or theirs. On the other hand I love them too, there’s something really fun about it that I can’t quite describe. It makes me wonder how other charge mirrors are like. I know how stupid the honda mirror can go, but I wonder which one is the most interesting? I’d probably say that Claw on Claw can be fun in the same ways that Dic on Dic is. I don’t remember who it was, but I remember getting a double KO when we each did EX PC’s from full screen at the exact same time! shit like that’s hilariously good stuff.
Wow, i hope im not offending anyone on here but the bison sucked and i really think DSP doesn’t know what the word turtle means if he thinks bison’s are generically turtles.
Have some more vids here, sorry if I’m spamming a bit guys. I’ll make sure to make this the last one for a while. I got a little to say about them though. So first of all the one against Mariodood… I’m pretty sure that he is just fucking around with Adon because SSF4 says his main is Abel and his pic is of Gief, I wish I got to play his Geif : (
Second the other two vids are of players that have a little over 4000 PP, now I know that isn’t pro. But for sure to have that many PP you have to have a solid understanding of the game and matchups, and I slapped the shit out of them : )
THIS IS ALL RANKED MATCHES>
VS Rufus (I played this guys earlier in the day, the vid got rotated before I could save it but he could hit Rufus trial 24 on a whim, basically he had links like a mofo!) He just got out spaced

This blanka player had over 4000 PP and almost 11000 BP with Blanka. Thats about the only reason I posted this.

Vs Mariodood (AD), Bison’s ultra 1 puts more fear into Adon’s heart…

yeah that bison was mediocre at best. he’ll learn though, i think. that kind of stuff is annoying to watch though.
and keep em coming ry. you’re one of the few that consistently puts himself out there for others to see. i’m personally looking forward to getting a capture set up to do the same.
Thanks Laud makes me feel better about posting my vids. I can’t wait to see your Bison, as Twisted Jago named you one of the best Bison’s he has seen in a post in the communtiy game thread.
I have tried and tried to get my sound quality better, but I mean alot of people seem to like it, because I get good compliments on it alot. Its better than the Youtube music I was using at first right?
really? lol. i guess thanks for the rep to andre. got 4/10 against him last time we played but i still think i got lucky because I always get my ass kicked by ATM Spider Tao and we have no lag. if all goes according to plan i’ll be back in california this Sunday and one of my first plans of action is getting that dazzle thingy for my mac.
