I too, still have a lot of trouble dealing with dive kick pressure and just resetting space in general, when he can punish TPs/psycho so easily. Dive kicks hitting me out of psycho make me cringe :<

I usually use Ex SK to get out of the Rufus Dive Kick pressure/mix up, I also try my best to keep rufus grounded with Bison high kick.
Flashy is right here. EX Scissors is indeed better from my experience as well.
Good tips on that. I have almost forgotten about EX-Knee Press being at my disposal because EX-Psycho Crusher has been my go-to move for shit like that.

Hey guys I decided to play 1 ranked match at like 3 am to get to 3000 PP and Yeb pops up in the list, so I figured oh well the fight will be worth it even if I loss XP… Oh yeah and my SKs won’t come out for the life of me. I tried some frame traps and what not but could not get the damn SK to come out hardly at all, stupid onliness.

in retrospect i played the matchup kinda poorly in that i didn’t DR once and kept eating Tiger Shot damage amongst other things. he went on to place 9th out of 122.

Yeah another reason I posted it was because I saw someone mention that a really good player will make you pay for mashing tech behind their block strings and this is a perfect example. On top of that, yeah, I was nervous because at the end I had no meter and Bison has a really hard time finishing characters off without meter. Last thing that made me nervous was the fact that I was beating Yeb and didn’t want to choke…lol

yeah Ryboy. I pay for crouch teching A LOT…with DP’s. then later I get thrown. shit’s good though, just kind of annoying. we do have frame traps and can loosen up our blockstrings by delaying certain normals. i’ve gotten punished for crouch teching by a bison using just cr.jab,st.jab, (Delay) cr.mk xx scissors. early jumping mk, st.close fierce is also really good. i think we should be generally being more experimental with our pressure strings, there’s so much more I think we can do offensively but I always do variations of the same blockstring. right now im trying to experiment with that by trying to freestyle.
