Amazing link (doesn’t hold as much pressure but it deals good dmg and is 100% success rate, ie; very hard to fuck up)
<Jump mk crossover, sc.hk > <----- also try safe jumping it, as they wake up, best way, if they dp you block it because the mk is so fast its in and out in milli seconds.
lol thats it deals like 240 dmg or somthing, very hard to mash through if ure vsing a scrubby dp happy ryu lol
Note : wait till you are almost touching the guy before you mk, because if you start too early the hk will not link.
PS, if you get into his head and start crumpling 99% of time try for < sc.hp to h.PC > DEALS a good amount of dmg and again is very easy to do (easier then < c.mp, c.mk, SK > and that does less dmg too!

Grand Finals of my first SSFIV tourney, versus Chun. Shameful defeat on the first set. This MU sounds HARDER than before, will have to train my ass harder as well next time.
House, how do you practice? PS3, Xbox?
I don’t really own any console but there’s a pretty traditional arcade 15 minutes away from home that has a Xbox for SSFIV exclusively.
Does anyone else use U1 exclusively for Chun just to punish her command cross-up? i guess its a preference, which part of her game do you want to shut down: her fireballs(U2) or her command cross-up(U1).
You can’t exactly shut down her fireball game. Her LP Kikoken has low recovery. Can’t just punish on regular reaction. You have to expect, buffer and try to press button just as you hear her. Unless, of course, you’re able to trick her into Crossup/Non-crossup. Gotta be close to do this. Close enough so Psycho Punish can travel to her back.
I have more confidence in U2, anyway.
We had such high hopes for PP, but it turns out to be one of the worst new ultras =P
Not saying it’s bad because it sure helps a lot by covering a major weakness Bison aways had, but it’s also nothing compared to BigBang Typhoon and others anti FB ultras.
worst? Far from that. Which anti FB is better? ChunLi’s? Abel’s?
Chun needs charge
Abel doesn’t cover full screen
Each ultra has its strong and weak points.
As for PP, it’s not meant to make Nightmare Booster useless. You really should take a look at the Ultra’s properties + matchups, then you’ll measure its usefulness.
pre-buffer and you can do the ultra at the push of a button. i like the fact that you can’t do it on reaction, you have to do some reading of your opponent and it’s a fine trade off for being the only charge character in the game with a double QCF ultra (chun doesn’t count because she’s a bitch)
not only that, but against certain characters, it can be used as corner escape if they jump in. Can punish whiffed specials to build meter as well (Honda, Rufus).
Allows strategy: the opponent throws fireball at full screen at you. Great. If you don’t have Ultra2 charged, just focus and charge it or make it stronger. They’ll realize that just throwing fireballs is a bad idea.
You can use it on wake up and force people to guess the cross up. They can’t jump out of it because the hit box is big enough to get them on start up frames either.
Couldn’t agree more
You can only use on their wakeup if they don’t have a reversal and you’re close enough.
Here are some matches from various players. I wanted to post a few. All credit goes out to the opposing players. Just wanted to contribute to the ssf4 Bison liniage : )

I would like to know what some of you Bison players think about the Abel matchup! I believe its 5.5 Abel. hmmm…
I was used to think that Bison had the advantage until someone introduced me to good usage of Ex COD. =P Makes me kinda scared to press my win button.
Bison had the advantage in vanilla regardless of Ex CoD. If anything, it’s probably the damage tweaks that make it more even now.
JeRon, I feel the Abel vs Bison match up has only improved for Abel and not Bison. Psycho Punisher is good but being up close with Abel is a big risk in itself anytime he has EX meter.
Kim felt it was 6-4 in arcade, I still think it’s 6-4 right now because both of his Ultras are quite viable against Bison. There’s combos into Uc1 (close-mid range threat), Uc2 is safe (mid-long range threat, delayable, cancelable, hyper armor…), so I think anything goes for this.
f+MK strings, EX-tornado, his normals (I think) got improved slightly, so he’s not to be looked down upon. This match up’s gotta be pretty careful on Bison’s part. I think he can EX-Marsailles out of a Psycho Punisher wake up setup. Haven’t tested that yet but Abel’s pretty cock diesel in Super Sf4.
You know, I always thought it was weird when people think of charge characters rarely does Chun come to the top of the list. Even though she’s as much of a charge as the rest of us for the most part. She’s a damn freak of nature with that Hazanshu though. I still want Psycho Banish. Just for fun.
Nothing in this game is compared to Big Bang Typhoon (except maybe EX Jesus Kick, see a pattern here with the tier lists so far?), that move is just wrong on so many levels.
I think PP is fine as it is. Heavy fireball spam from full screen was always a bit of a problem for Bison in vanilla depending on available meter, and PP pretty much stuffs that for most non Guile’s (since it’s pretty much a psychic punish to nail a Sonic Boom).
