The LK > MP link is still gone, need to do LK > LP xx LP Bullhead as a BNB now. HK links into LP and that seems to be it. HK causing juggle on a non-counterhit AA hit is gone, none of his normals seem to do that now. Can confirm that f.HP is now a CC that floats…seems all you can really do most of the time is MP Bullhorn. cr.HP now only combos into HK or EX Chain, so you get less choice over where to put the opponent afterward.

Seems to be all nerfs so far, mostly just all-around nerfs to his damage in most situations…but nerfs are easier to find than new buffs, so maybe there will be something.

All his regular throws, and command throws do more damage.

They must cuz I got regular grabbed by a V Trigger Birdie when I had like 20 percent health left and died LOL

regular throws now 150, before 140. Piledriver now 180/190/200/220.

What the shit, laura can same side hit j.mk, and then body teleport on the other side against birdie.

lol was it known that his vtrigger activation actually has a hitbox? Someone just jumped at me after i activated and the flame from his mouth anti aired them, ive never seen that before

Been that way since last beta. You can get it to combo off TAP and ex TAP as well with lp headbutt followup after.

you can bullhorn after c hp low lightk to high lightk combos…to far to finish with a jab headbut though…

A poster above said c.HP only combos into HK/EX Chain; who’s right? Also can s.LK combo into s.LP?

Cr.HP does indeed combo into horn. And yes s.LK links to s.LP

Was Birdie’s EX Bullhorn always susceptible to being hit out with lows? Tried doing that against Laura’s fireball and it went through but then she low forwarded me.

Also, they kinda’ nerfed t.HK. If you AA with cr.MP, you could do t.HK as a meaty and it just stops them from mashing out or jumping. Now, they can crouch Jab you out of it… I know for a fact that they couldn’t mash Jab in Beta 2 to escape.

I can´t play today but was watching an stream and when Birdie whiffed his cmd grab he combs his hair and has more recovery (like it happened previously with EX version of the kick one)? Can someone test this?

eating donuts while in v trigger can keep you in v trigger a long ass time…i pretty much stayed half the match in v trigger till i lost with a time out…

Taking my previous combo list and editing over it, this is what I found so far. I’ll be sure to clean all this mess up eventually if u aren’t interested in the previous build combo.

  • sLK can’t link into sMP, cMP and overhead anymore.
  • Chain and Bullhead do less damage and bullhorn does even more less.
  • Command throws and normal throws do more damage.
  • Stun hasn’t changed afaik, so I’m leaving those values out for now

no they dosnt work anymore but i think i found a new combo low lp, standing lk, standing lp headbut

V-trigger lp headbutt combos after st.lk.

So, cr.lk > st.lk > lp headbutt is a combo during V-trigger. So, he has a low hit-confirm.

Also, st.mp > st.lk > lp headbutt works in V-trigger.

EDIT: Actually, cr.lk > st.lk > st.lp > lp headbutt works in and out of V-trigger. Have to be really close, though

Poor guy is so free to pressure. People are thinking he’s a grappler like Zangief but he gets rushed down hard.

It just has 1 hit of armor, so u probably absorbed the fireball and then just got hit by her normal. I just tested it and ex bullhorn absorbs lows just fine
