I will have to check my e-mail. I ‘borrowed’ some free game codes from my old job (the ones you get for getting a brand new video card) and one was for Bioshock Infinite, so I just gotta wait to get a message about it.
Remember that IGN (like most major vg sites) has multiple reviewers with different opinions. One reviewers score doesn’t represent the thoughts of all other reviewers.
Unless you can pinpoint cases of specific reviewer contradiction, you have a weak argument.
Nothing that hasn’t been revealed in the demo or previous videos, just goes over the basic premise. It’s actually an informative review that wont surprise you except for hearing the middle portion is padded out.
The preorder bonuses on steam (Bioshock 1, TF 2 items, and XCOM) are amazing but not enough for my cheapness to pull the trigger. It’ll be hard waiting for price drop, especially after seeing how fun the skyhook looks but, I’ve decided against day1 buys for all games awhile ago.
You’re an idiot, I never said nor implied the reviewer who gave BI a 9.4 also gave most other games 9’s. In fact looking at Ryan Mccaffrey’s history he seems to not hand 9’s out like candy, if you had reading comprehension you would have noticed I only pointed out his sweeping criticisms of the FPS genre apply to his peers.
Steam demo being released? I’m Gameflying this for Xbox, but I want to see if my PC will run it better, I’m probably just gonna put down the cash for this eventually. I’m just not sure my computer will run it well enough.
When I say run it, I don’t just mean run it. I mean getting 60 FPS without having to kill the settings. I know I can run the game on low, I just don’t want to compromise if I’m gonna be tossing 60 bucks on it.
I’m about halfway between minimum and recommended on that site, only thing that it says to upgrade is my video card. It’s a laptop though soooo… (and yes I know, I needed a laptop to bring back and forth to work. It had to be a laptop, not a desktop)
They had to strip the multiplayer component to actually get the game done. Sucks too, because BioShock 2’s multiplayer had amazing gameplay and a lot of depth.
Awesome and spoiler free interview, recommend everyone watch it whether you have the game or not. They spend like 5 minutes talking about how great HBO’s Girls is lol.
Whoever buys that AMD product Sovi3t took the code out of is going to be so, so salty.
When I was really broke years ago, all I did was download games and emulate older ones since I couldn’t afford to buy anything. Entertained myself even though I was poor as fack.
I torrent because I believe in open software. Sorry, but I download music, movies, games, and so much more. Why should I get picky. Hate to say it, but with this economy, I have to REALLY like something to actually put my money towards it (or require multiplayer). Been downloading since the BBS days back in the late 80s and early 90s (you have no fucking idea how long it takes to download a game with a 2400 baud modem).
anywho, what timezone midnight does this officially release? Is it 12 PST or EST or what?
however I have to update for 31 minutes first apparantly o.0
edit: actually I don’t know what the fuck it’s doing. Says “Ready to launch in approximately:” and the timer has gone from 30 mins to an hour and change, and just keeps going everywhere. Sooooooo, time for weed and beer while I wait I suppose
