After looking at the vid, Spencer looks damn scarry. If he launches you, it hurts really bad. I’m looking forward to using him.
Indeed, our dreadlocked crusader needs more love. Looks like he has solid combo’s, a nice command grab (?), easily linkable supers, cool voice (not really nessesary, but whatever), and it also looks like good mobility with his grapples.
Can’t wait to see more of him.
Snagged BC, I haven’t played it much but I will say, I sat there and listened to the entire song at the press start screen. That was like fillet mignon for my ears.
After seeing some of the moves in BC I’m excited to see what’s going to make it in mvc. Death from above would be rad.

What’s characters do you guys think will go well with Spencer?
Spencer is going to be good at stopping runaway characters, I think he’s going to be a good counter for characters like Trish,Arthur,Dormamu and Modok. I hope he has a good assist and level 3, I see alot of potential in Spencer. :tup:
Y’know, we’ve gotten a decent amount of videos since Spencer was announced and he’s the only character from his batch that hasn’t been in any of them. Think there’s any chance that some major modifications were being done to him? Maybe due to a certain unpopular hair style? Just wishful thinking I’m sure.
I dont know if he’ll be good against MODOK, mainly because of Aegis. I’m still waiting to see his ranged grab properties against projectiles. Will his arm ignore the projectile and still grab the opponent? Will it destroy/negate the projectile and then retract back to him (like Omega Red)?
I’m still hype as fuck to play him. In the one true game play vid he was doing sick damage with basic magic series combos. Seth even said he hits like a tank. Soooooo hype. I’m over the whole “it’s the wrong Spencer!” thing. I just want to play him! Although I’d still like to see old school Spencer as DLC. 
It saddens me that Spencer has only been on one gameplay video since his reveal. I plan on maining him and I like to see more of what he’s capable of before the game drops.

I just dont see why the fuck some of you wont be happy until you get the exact same character with a different hairstyle.

I’d go so far as to say Spencer is the MOST underrated character revealed thus far. Like nobody is talking about him when it looks like he’s gonna hurt…a lot. We’ll have to see his assists before we can make a full judgement though.
If its anything like the original game it would stop the projectile but go no further, either way I’d love to find out. We really need more videos with BC.
It has nothing to do with him being white. It has everything to do with him not being the memorable character we loved. He needs those shades too, along with the jacket.
I don’t mean to keep whining about it but people keep bringing it up lol. He does look like a beast though, hopefully we get more footage soon.
I think he’ll definitely be on my team… something about characters with moves that pull the opponent towards them I think is really appealing

The problem is that nouveau Rad Spencer was a lame designed-by-committee attempt at “modernizing” the character. What they did was make him look like an attendee of Woodstock '94. It’s a “modern” character design that was already dated and out of touch when the new 3D Bionic Commando came out.
People were upset about his appearance in that game, and this game as well, because it’s a mediocre character design that has no relation whatsoever to the Rad Spencer that everyone knows and loves from the original. Spencer is supposed to be a gung-ho army guy. Dogtags and a high n’ tight hairdo you can set yer’ watch to. Dreads and an “alternative” 90’s attitude is totally anathema to the original character.
