I think its mostly the animations, but he looks like a combo reset machine, so he’s gonna have a very high damage output . Like if Omega red and BB’s Hazama had a lovechild. its beautiful.
As a Hazama player, I’m definitely keeping an eye on Spencer for right now. But you know what he needs?

I hate dread Spencer but his gameplay looks awesome, and he hits like a truck.
literally the oly thing I DON’T like is the dreads so far. Everything is making up for that however. all the little details and charm is making him really interesting, I love it!

So did anyone notice that his command grab seems to have different follow ups? In his character trailer he just goes into his grab (with his normal hand) and then pops the guy up for a combo, but when he did one against Spidey, he followed it up with a kick. I’m guessing strength dependent options?
prolly, all his throws and grapples are meant to set up combos, so that makes alot of sense. If Spencer grabs you, you’re in for some pain. I actually like this re-imagining of the capcom grappler alot.
Looks like he can get some really long combos going off his command throw and his OTG grapple.

Its stupid to hate on the dude because he has dreads. I hate when i hear people say that, good job capcom and making him awesome so the haters will learn to love the dreads.
